Projects that received a purple ribbon at the bates county fair are eligible for the state fair. Those projects are due back to the office this week no later than Wednesday at 12:30. Projects must be under 24”x24”. Any projects larger a photo needs to be taken and sent. Remove all ribbons except the exhibitor tag.

Next club meeting will be in October.

District qualifying project are due back to the extension office this week. Those projects received a green ribbon at the bates county fair. Remove any ribbons leaving the fair tag with your info. Projects will be rejudged at districts (Springfield) and will be on display at Ozark empire fair.

Bates county extension office is open Monday&Tuesday 8:30-4:30 and Wednesday 8:30-12:30.

Today is In-Building Judging. Bring your projects at 1:30 to be judged.

Projects will go to a chair with you.
Fill out any tags that are needed for projects. Runners will take you to the judges. You can come back tonight to view results.

Parade starts at 5. Truck and trailer will be in line by the ball fields at 4:45. You can bring candy to throw.

Bash starts tonight at 5:30

Fashion R***e is at 6:30

Peewee show is at 7pm.

The Bates County Fair has begun! If you haven’t joined the Bates County Fair through the Band app. Please do. The club also is using Band. Everyone should have received an invite. If not reach out to me. Any pictures that you would like to share throughout the fair can be emailed to me or text to me to post on our socials.

All livestock and fashion r***e forms are due tomorrow! Livestock forms can be mailed but must be postmarked by tomorrow.

Fair cleanup is this weekend. In-building clean-up is this Friday at 1pm and the livestock arenas and fairgrounds is this Sunday at 1pm.

In-building project judging will take place Tuesday, July 7. Our club is assigned from 1:30 to 2:30pm.

Parade is Tuesday July 7th at 5pm. If anyone would like to volunteer with a truck and trailer for a club float let me know.
