The rubber surfacing for the track is scheduled to begin installation today. After installation is complete, everyone must stay off the surface for 30 days. Please make sure to stay off of the track during this time.

We are very thankful for the AC Athletic Boosters, Inc. for spearheading this project and working to gather donations, fundraise, and coordinate all of the work. They have worked hard to ensure the district has not had to pay for the track project. Without them, we wouldn’t have a track! Thank you all so much for your hard work and effort throughout this project.

We will put out a release when the track can be used again.

Hopefully Fischer Track will be here Friday to start laying the rubber surface! What we need from the community is for everyone to stay off the track for 30 days. We will post pics as it progresses!!

Anyone still looking for an end of year tax deduction? We are still needing additional funds to help pay for the rubberized surface on the track. We are a 501c3 organization and can provide you any needed information. Thank you all for supporting this major project!! 🐾💙❤️

Just a quick update: The track project is still waiting for the contractors to get started but they assure us it is still on schedule to be done before fall. We know everyone wants to see progress as do we, but supplies are limited and unfortunately many things are in limited supply and on back order. Hopefully in a few weeks we can have some progress pictures of the track!!

The boosters would like to give a special shout out to all of those involved with our Mouse Races this year, we were able to clear $30,000 with this fundraiser!! We still have a ways to go before we are fully funded so we will keep working at it! ❤️💙🏃‍♀️🐾

Making a Dream a Reality

Just over twenty years ago the idea of a new football field and track for the Appleton City High School was born. And that dream is now becoming a reality!

The Appleton City Athletic Boosters and a dedicated group of volunteers have been drawing plans, raising money, moving dirt, and getting things done! But there is still a lot of work to do. The press box, concession stand, and restrooms still have to be funded and finished; in addition to the track. The local community has been extremely generous with providing financial resources to get this project started, but more funds are needed to finance the completion of phase 2. Sponsor a piece of the press box, concession stand, and restrooms by purchasing a building material.

All ACHS alumni and fans are encouraged to donate time, money, or resources to help make this dream a reality and bring the Friday night lights back to Appleton City!
