Food With Love, Inc. Food With Love is a non-profit providing quarterly meals at Ronald McDonald House (Chicago Ave, Mpls) Food with Love, Inc.

is a non-profit corporation who's current purpose is to provide a week’s worth of home-cooked meals monthly to families dealing with serious or terminal illness(es). We invite volunteers into the kitchen as needed and we also include local teens as a part of their community service hours to assist us with cooking and to teach them valuable life skills in the kitchen.

Not sure what we're talking about? Here's the scoop:

This year in honor of Fathers Day, We (Food With Love, Inc. & Ginny Bites Bakery) are assembling 'Birthday Cake Kits' for the local food shelf.

Ginny will be accepting donations via Venmo at her handle OR in person at the Bakery.

Each Birthday Cake Kit costs $10 to create and will include: One 13"x9" pan, 1 cake mix, 1 frosting, 1 sprinkles, 1 icing gel, 1 can of soda pop and 1 box of candles.

If you would like to contribute we would be very grateful. If you can not at this time, sharing this post is caring too 😉

Mother's Day Brunch was a success!
Thank you so much to ALL who made this day possible.
The funds & items donors, the volunteer cooks, the cheerleaders along the way and everything in between!

And an extra special thank you to Embrace Our Souls for the beautiful handmade custom bracelets for the mom's gift bags. The gesture, support and heartfelt sentiment was truly amazing.

Food With Love, Inc. Mother's Day Brunch & 50 Gift Bags UPDATE 💐 for Ronald McDonald House Mpls

My home office has turned into the gathering place for this project. The other day I listed everything we had in the gift bags so far...this post is what's happened since then 💋

* Raised $125 more via Venmo 🎉
* Received these gorgeous handmade bar soaps! Thanks Marty! 💋
* I ordered these items to add to the bags: Mother's Day cards, stickers, Ring Pops, Nutri-Grain Bars and BathBombs.
* Went shopping for round one of the Family Pantry foods. Pictured here.
* Ordered all of the ingredients for our Brunch menu to be delivered to the Bakery on May 8th. Food With Love pays for these 💯%

What's next?

* I have $182 left of your amazing donations (plus what I spend personally) to go to Costco for the kitchen needs, seasonings, & more pantry items if possible.

* Two lovely locals will be dropping off their gently used crock pots for us to bring and leave in the volunteer kitchen 😍 Thank you!!

Good evening everyone!

For those following along our little local non-profit project, tonight my wonderful daughter is starting the process of stuffing the gift bags that Food With Love Inc. will be bringing on Mother's Day morning to Ronald McDonald's house in Minneapolis (Chicago Ave). These bags are for the moms who are staying in the hospital with their ill child on Mother's Day morning.

My non-profit will be cooking brunch there too and we have lots of things to put in these bags thanks to so many of you wonderful donors 😍

We have one last goal and maybe you can help us?

I would LOVE if we could raise enough $ donations to put a $10 gift card in each of these 50 gift bags to Starbucks coffee.

Starbucks has been a big supporter of us the last couple years with this fun annual project and have donated so many pounds of coffee for us to bring to fill the Family Pantry on site at Ronald McDonald House.

So far we've raised $275 ... so $225 more gets us to this goal. This year we are bringing 50 gift bags to Ronald McDonald House Minneapolis to spoil the moms and cook them a big Eggs Benedict Brunch on Mothers Day morning!
If you would like to donate items to put in these bags OR to donate funds for us to buy the items to place in the bags, let us know your pledge in the comments below.
Think 50 small items that would help pamper a mother while she is staying in the hospital with her ill child.
IE: chapstick, facial tissues, hand sani, candy, bath bombs, facial masks, deck of cards, lotion, journals/pens and more.
Items will be collected at Ginny Bites Bakery in downtown Anoka no later then Monday May 4th.
