Exciting news for visitors to the Anthony & Rose Shatter Family Preserve!

After nearly a decade of partnership with Salem Township, we're thrilled to announce that a new preserve parking area is coming soon.

This fall, construction will begin (weather permitting) on a small, thoughtfully designed parking lot to enhance visitor safety, reduce roadside parking, and make it easier for everyone to explore and enjoy the preserve.

You may notice construction equipment and activity for a short period as we complete this important improvement.

Today marks the first day of archery hunting season at Iron Creek Preserve. The preserve remains open during hunting hours. Please be extra cautious and visible!

- Do not approach active hunters, tree stands, or blinds
- Stay on trail
- Keep dogs on leash

As part of our ongoing Preserve Management Program, Legacy Land Conservancy is launching the next phase of our Hunting Program this season—designed with safety and stewardship in mind.

🦌 HUNTING SEASON: October 1 – January 1
⏰ Hunting Hours: Dawn – 11:30 a.m.

Here’s what you need to know to stay safe and enjoy your visit:

- Do not approach active hunters, tree stands, or blinds

Only Legacy-permitted hunters (max 2 at a time) are allowed, and hunting is limited to white-tailed deer.
