Revel Run once again proved why it's one of Michigan's favorite eventing venues, hosting an unforgettable weekend filled with great riding, challenging courses, and plenty of fun!
Saturday night's Competitors Party was a highlight of the weekend. The festivities continued with the dog jumping competition, which had spectators laughing and cheering from start to finish. Add in the XC Pink Out in support of breast cancer awareness, and the weekend was packed with memorable moments!
🎉Anabelle Iverson captured the Training Rider division and summed up what so many competitors love about Revel Run:
"Revel Run is my favorite show all year. I look forward to the challenging course, the fun atmosphere, and the show grounds."
Her favorite moment came as she galloped through the finish flags after jumping Annalisa's Memorial Jump on her way to a double-clear cross-country round.
🎉Marliese Derkach finished 6th in the Beginner Novice Junior division on her dressage score. While the ribbons were exciting, it was the atmosphere that stood out most.
"My favorite moment was hanging out with my friends, competing together, and doing the Pink Out."
She added that she loves Revel Run because of the welcoming Daratony family, the dedicated volunteers, and the fun cross-country courses.
🎉Maura O'Connor and Dancer earned 9th place in the Training Open division after tackling one of the most technical Training cross-country tracks they've seen.
"Crossing the finish line after completing one of the most technical training courses Dancer and I have seen yet was my favorite moment."
She was thrilled with her horse's performance, finishing 20 seconds under optimum time, and praised Revel Run for creating courses that are both fair and rewarding.
"Their events are always run so well. Their courses really test you and your horse's partnership."
🎉For Aubrey Schult, who placed 5th in the Novice Rider division, the weekend marked a milestone as she and Molson completed their first Novice event together.
"After my last jump in cross-country, Molson galloped off, and it was such a special feeling. I was so proud of us."
She also shared why Revel Run keeps her coming back year after year.
"I always know I'll have a good experience here. The courses are fun and creative, and I love how many events they host—my favorite is always the Halloween Derby."
