House by the Side of the Road - Ann Arbor We provide clothing and small household items at no charge to people in need after family breakup, job loss, fire, re-entry from prison, etc.

We provide clothing and small household items at no charge to people in need. People come in after family breakup, job loss, fire, or prolonged illness. We also serve those who are homeless, those who are reentering society after prison, individuals with mental health issues, recent immigrants, and migrant workers.

Thank you for your continued support! As children head back to school, we need donations of clothing, especially boys' regular sizes 5–8. Please drop off items at our back dock, open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
