WXW SPOTLIGHT: Meet Our Volunteer Chair Joni Woods! ✨

We are thrilled to introduce you to someone who has graced the stage of TEDxYpsilanti in 2026. Yes, she is that big!

Joni is a Relationship and Communication Coach and founder of Journey Coaching, with nearly two decades of experience helping individuals, couples, and organizations build healthier, more intentional connections. She helps people move from surviving to genuinely thriving, and she walks the talk.

In October 2025, Joni published her debut book — Burned, Blocked, and Better Than Ever: A Raw Journey of Healing — a boldly honest memoir about divorce, emotional recovery, and what it really looks like to come home to yourself.
