It was founded to preserve the future of the Ankeny High and Centennial High band programs.

Ankeny Instrumental Music Foundation is a private, non-profit organization established in 1999 by an independent board of parents, volunteers, and staff members. After 35 years of elevating students’ musical skills, teaching an appreciation for the arts, and entertaining audiences, the band has reached the point where dollars are critical for a defined future. The AIM Foundation is committed to support the band programs in both Ankeny High School and Ankeny Centennial High School. In order to continue to provide a first-class opportunity for Ankeny band students, AIM needs your support.

As we reflect on last Saturday's Mid-Iowa Band Championship, this quote beautifully captures what we witnessed throughout the day.

We saw incredible performances, but we also saw something much bigger — young people demonstrating dedication, teamwork, perseverance, and a commitment to something greater than themselves.

That's the power of music education. It's about more than notes, performances, or competition results. It's about building character, creating connections, and bringing out the best in one another.

To every student, director, family member, volunteer, and supporter who made the day possible — THANK YOU!

❤️ Music brings out the best in us. And last Saturday was a wonderful reminder of why.
