💜 SEPTEMBER IS SU***DE PREVENTION MONTH

Behind every uniform is a person. Behind every badge is a story. And sometimes, the strongest among us are carrying battles no one else can see.

This Su***de Prevention Month, Palmetto Front Line Foundation reminds our active duty military, veterans, first responders, and their families that you do not have to face those battles alone.

Check on your people. Make the phone call. Send the text. Sit down and listen. A simple conversation can make a difference—and sometimes, it can save a life.

If you are struggling, asking for help is not weakness. Reaching out is an act of strength.

At Palmetto Front Line Foundation, we remain committed to supporting those who serve through su***de awareness and prevention training, outreach programs, and non-clinical outdoor nature therapy opportunities across South Carolina.

Because Those Who Serve Should Never Stand Alone.

If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 and press 1 to reach the Veterans Crisis Line.

💜 Stay connected.
💜 Check on your people.
💜 Keep the conversation going.

🇺🇸 GREENVILLE, WE SHOWED UP — AND YOU SHOWED OUT! 🇺🇸

What an incredible night at the Greenville Drive for First Responder Night!

Palmetto Front Line Foundation was proud to sponsor 100 veterans and first responders for an evening of baseball, fellowship, and community at Fluor Field.

And the game did not disappoint! ⚾ The Greenville Drive pulled out an exciting win in the bottom of the 9th inning, giving everyone an unforgettable finish.

The night wasn’t over there. Following the Drive game, the Greenville Police Department and Greenville Fire Department took the field for a charity softball game benefiting the Shriners Children’s Hospital — another great example of our first responder community stepping up to serve others.

Greenville, thank you for welcoming us, supporting our mission, making donations, and picking up some Palmetto Front Line gear. Every conversation, donation, and show of support helps us continue serving active duty military, veterans, first responders, and their families across South Carolina.

We’re grateful to everyone who stopped by, shook a hand, shared a story, and supported our mission.

Another great visit with the veterans at the Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home!

This visit was made even more special as we were able to hand out blankets to veterans while spending time sharing stories, laughter, and fellowship. These visits are always a meaningful reminder of why we do what we do and how important it is to make sure our veterans know they are remembered, appreciated, and supported.

At Palmetto Front Line Foundation, outreach is about more than simply showing up—it’s about building relationships, honoring service, and standing beside those who have stood for us.

Thank you to the staff at Campbell for always welcoming us and for the outstanding care you provide our veterans.

🇺🇸 Want to join us? Our next visit is Monday, September 21, and we would love to have volunteers come out and be part of this great outreach event! Contact our Upstate Region Coordinator, Hope at [email protected]

🇺🇸 BUDDY CHECK 22 🇺🇸

Today is the 22nd, and that means it’s time for our monthly Buddy Check 22.

Take a few minutes today to reach out to a veteran, active duty service member, first responder, or anyone else in your circle who may be carrying more than they let others see.

Send the text. Make the call. Grab a cup of coffee. Ask the question—and take the time to truly listen.

Sometimes a simple “How are you doing?” can open the door to a conversation someone desperately needs.

At the Palmetto Front Line Foundation, we believe those who serve our communities and our nation should never have to face their struggles alone.

Check on your people. Stay connected. Be present.

Because those who serve should never stand alone.

🇺🇸 National Nonprofit Day 🇺🇸

Today, on National Nonprofit Day, we’re proud to recognize the organizations, volunteers, donors, and supporters who work every day to make a difference in their communities.

At the Palmetto Front Line Foundation, our mission is simple but important: to stand beside active-duty military, veterans, first responders, and their families across South Carolina.

Through outdoor nature therapy, outreach programs, and su***de awareness and prevention training, we work to ensure that those who serve and protect us know they are never alone.

But we can’t do it without you.

If you believe in our mission and want to help us continue serving those who serve, we would be grateful for your support. Every donation—large or small—helps us expand our programs and reach more members of our front line community.

❤️ Support the mission. Stand beside those who stand for us.

Last evening, we were honored to serve as a proud sponsor of the Night of Remembrance with the South Carolina 7 (SC7) Expedition.

As our nation celebrates its 250th Anniversary, this evening was a meaningful opportunity to not only honor the history and sacrifices that shaped America, but also to recognize the incredible contributions of the people and places that make South Carolina so special.

The SC7 team continues to do an outstanding job promoting conservation awareness, connecting people with our state’s natural beauty, and highlighting the healing power of outdoor nature therapy. Their mission aligns closely with ours, and we are grateful to stand alongside them as a partner.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to support this special evening. Your support helps strengthen the movement to raise awareness of the life-changing benefits of outdoor nature therapy while honoring the service and sacrifices of our active duty military, veterans, first responders, and their families.

Together, let’s continue protecting South Carolina’s natural treasures, supporting those who serve, and ensuring that no one has to face life’s challenges alone.

Volunteers Needed – Make a Difference in the Life of a Veteran

A simple conversation, a smile, or spending a few moments with someone who served our country can make a lasting impact.

The Palmetto Front Line Foundation is looking for volunteers to join us as we visit the residents of the Richard M. Campbell VA Nursing Home as part of our Outreach Initiative. These visits provide fellowship, encouragement, and gratitude to the men and women who have sacrificed so much for our nation.

Upcoming Volunteer Dates:
🇺🇸 Monday, August 24
🇺🇸 Monday, September 21

Whether you’re a veteran, first responder, active duty service member, family member, or simply someone who wants to give back, we would love to have you join us. No special experience is required—just a willing heart and a desire to brighten someone’s day.

To volunteer or ask questions, please contact our Upstate Region Coordinator, Hope Lyles, at [email protected].

Together, let’s continue honoring those who served by showing them they are never forgotten.
