The first ever Electric City Food Truck Festival & Halloween Fun Run was a big hit!! 💚

We had a wonderful time celebrating the opening of the Whitner Creek Trail with costumes, food, and family fun!👻🍔

Anderson is certified going crazy for trails!

This past Saturday proved it in a massive way at our brand-new Whitner Creek Trail ribbon-cutting. Whole families and loads of kids in full Halloween costume hit the pavement for a fun run, then spent the afternoon soaking up the gorgeous weather at Linley Park.

From incredible local food truck eats—featuring Taste of Inclusion Indian Cuisine (Celebrate Sakshi Kumar ), Sweet Emmaline Cheesecakes , and so many other great vendors—to trick-or-treat stations for the little ones, the energy was electric. Seeing families, kids, and neighbors out experiencing the new connection firsthand is what this is all about!

Our community’s momentum for trails and healthy living is undeniable, and we want you with us for the next big milestone. Thanks to First Flight Alliance and City of Anderson, SC - Local Government for making this happen!

Construction of Rocky River Nature Park (RRNP) Discovery and Wellness Trail (DWT) is underway!

• The RRC has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with AnMed (the fiscal agent for the Duke Energy Healthy People Healthy Carolinas program) for funding the Rocky River Nature Park (RRNP) Discovery and Wellness Trail (DWT).

• The Discovery and Wellness Trail (DWT) will enhance the current 1.2-mile scenic loop with eight purposeful stations for wellness and five interactive educational kiosks. The addition is intended to promote healthy lifestyles and environmental stewardship for the Anderson community.
