Today!!!‼️‼️Anderson Mall
'Twas the night before the Bash, and all through our space,
Every volunteer moved at a lightning-fast pace!
The supplies were stacked high, arranged with great care,
In joyful anticipation of all who'd be there.
The notebooks were sorted, the markers in rows,
How many backpacks we packed? Goodness only knows!
And we paused for a moment, looked round with a smile,
Knowing every last effort was fully worthwhile.
When inside the hall there arose such a hustle,
As our team geared up with plenty of muscle!
Checking lists, taping boxes, and setting the stage,
For every bright student of every school age.
We stacked up the tables and cleared out the floor,
Making room for the families who’d walk through the door.
With hearts full of passion, working late through the night,
To make sure every detail was ready and right!
Together we labored, one ultimate crew,
Readying thousands of pencils and glue!
Now Notebooks! Now Backpacks! Now Rulers and Pens!
Stack the folders, prep the tables, tell all of your friends!
To the front of the doors! To the start of the line!
Everything’s ready, set, and looking divine!
So we’re resting our feet as the clock strikes the night,
Knowing tomorrow will be pure delight.
And we exclaim with excitement as we turn off the light:
"We can't wait for the Bash—see you all in the morning light!"
