Restoration Project Foundation

Restoration Project Foundation Personal connections are vital—especially for our children and young adults today.

Restoration Project Foundation matches students in our schools with trustworthy mentors who listen, encourage, and inspire students to reach their full potential. Restoration Project Foundation believes the influence of a mentor can help improve the lives of youth personally, academically, and athletically. Our mission is to renew hope through education, restore confidence through providing resou

rces, and redeem the future through relationships that can help all children and youth in our communities thrive!

Meet Courtney, our mentor of the week.

Courtney hails from Columbia, SC, and is finishing her undergraduate degree at North Greenville University. Fun fact: she's married to Tyler, who's also an RPF mentor.

Courtney's engaging personality and caring heart make her a joy to be around, and the young ladies she mentors from Reason & Republic will surely gain a great deal from Cortney.

The top 3 things that cause stress to teenagers are: (1) Academics, "Will I succeed in school?" (2) Social/Relationship pressure—"Where can I fit in?" (3) Unhealthy family dynamics, "Where do I turn when life really hurts?" In every one of these areas, mentors are shown to make a positive difference. No one is intended to do life alone. We are always better together.

We often think of mentoring as just helping younger people through hard times. While that's certainly the case sometimes, mentoring is more than that. It also includes celebrating the wins in life. Whether it's doing well on a hard test, winning a big game, or just being in a good place in life, good mentors find ways to say, "I'm proud of you!" Life can be hard, so celebrate the victories, great and small!

A caring mentor can change the trajectory of a young g person’s life. There are many ways this can happen including being an authentic, positive example!
Observing emotionally mature adults can have a dramatic influence on a child’s life. “More is caught than taught” as they say, meaning actions can be far more profound than words when it comes to modeling behavior worth imitating.
