And that’s a wrap, Anderson! Conversations on a Bench 2026 is in the books.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported us in person and online💙

Through dozens of conversations with our community, we were reminded of the power of listening, building relationships, and treating every person with dignity and compassion.

A special thank you to the Anderson County library. Annie and her team were incredible hosts!

About to begin Conversations on a Bench in Anderson

10/07/2026

“Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.” Psalm 127:1 🙏

We’ve planned, prepared and invited people to the bench. But ultimately, we know lasting change comes from the Lord.

As Conversations on a Bench begins tomorrow in Anderson, join us:
🙏 PRAY: Friday at 9 a.m. or noon at the Anderson County Library.
❤️ GIVE : Bring new shampoo, body wash, bar soap, deodorant or other personal hygiene items. Donations will support local organizations serving our neighbors in Anderson.

📍 Anderson County Library
🗓️ Oct. 8 at 3 p.m. – Oct. 9 at 3 p.m.

We can have the conversations and do the work, but we want the Lord to build the house. See you all live on Facebook and YouTube.

🍩'America Runs on Dunkin'? 👫Miracle Hill Runs on Volunteers!!!!

We love our faithful volunteers, we could not serve over 700 individuals daily without them.

✨Meet Mrs. Lydia!
After retiring as a nurse, Lydia wanted to use the gifts God gave her to serve others. She found her place at Shepherd’s Gate, faithfully caring for and organizing the clothing closet for women who often arrive with very little.

Her service goes far beyond keeping things organized—it helps our staff better care for the women we serve.

Thank you, Lydia, for serving so faithfully! ❤️🙏
