🎭 Breaking Wave Theatre Company is partnering with Jun and the local Blood on the Clocktower community to launch regular public game sessions on Guåhan. 🩸

At BWTC, we believe storytelling can happen in many forms: onstage, around a table, through improvisation, collaboration, and shared imagination. We’re excited to continue to uplift low-cost, community-centered programming that helps people connect, create, and build friendships through play.

Our first open Blood on the Clocktower session is happening this June. Whether you’re a longtime social deduction fan or completely new to the game, you’re invited to join us.

What is Blood on the Clocktower?
Think Mafia or Werewolf - but deeper. It’s a social deduction party game that plays more like a murder mystery! Everyone has a unique role, and death is not the end! Bluff, trust your instincts, and execute the demon!

A live Storyteller guides players through a town filled with hidden roles and chaos. Work together to uncover evil hiding among the town or convince everyone you’re innocent while secretly causing mayhem.

🎲 5–20 players
🕰️ Games run approximately 30–90 minutes
🎭 Rules taught before gameplay
🌟 Beginners absolutely welcome

Creative West’s Pacific Jurisdictions Artist Fund (PJAF) is currently open for artists, culture bearers, and tradition keepers here in Guam.

The Pacific Jurisdictions Artist Fund is a community-rooted, artist-centered program co-designed with artists and cultural leaders from Guam, the CNMI, and American Samoa. This year, 15 individual artists from each jurisdiction will each receive a flat $2,000 unrestricted award.

This is not a project grant. Funding can support creative practice, cultural preservation, rest, healing, daily needs, and artistic sustainability — however each artist defines it.

To support artists through the application process, Creative West has tasked CJ Ochoco — Guam’s PJAF Community Lead and President of Breaking Wave Theatre Company — to host free in-person Community Support Sessions.

These sessions are working spaces where artists can:
🌿 Get hands-on help navigating GO Smart
🌿 Ask questions about the application
🌿 Work alongside fellow artists
🌿 Learn from past awardees
🌿 Receive support in a welcoming community environment

Artists working in all forms are encouraged to attend and apply.

🗓️ Guam Community Support Sessions at BWTC HQ:
Thursday, May 28 | 6:30 PM–8:30 PM
Saturday, May 30 | 1:00 PM–3:00 PM
Saturday, May 30 | 4:00 PM–6:00 PM
Thursday, June 4 | 6:30 PM–8:30 PM
Saturday, June 6 | 1:00 PM–3:00 PM
Saturday, June 6 | 4:00 PM–6:00 PM

Breaking Wave Theatre Company HQ is located in MongMong-Toto-Maite at the MTM Building.

🌊 Updated Guam deadline:
June 9, 2026 at 3:59 PM ChST

Register for a Guam support session:

These sessions are not required, but if you are interested in attending, please register with the link above. All sessions will be the same, so you will only need to attend one. Artists are encouraged to bring laptops, tablets, or phones if possible. These sessions are designed to be practical, welcoming working spaces where artists can receive hands-on support throughout the application process.

We are so inspired by the who just premiered their production of “Where She Belongs.” This show marks the end of the Spring Rising Tides sponsored productions, and we couldn’t be more proud of everyone. Go watch their final show tomorrow (Saturday) at 7PM at BTACS.
