⚔️ THE GOLDEN HILITAI GUILD IS RECRUITING. ⚔️

Breaking Wave Theatre Company calls all adventurers, wayfarers, and wanderers ready for a new quest, a good story, and perhaps the chance to become heroes along the way.

As part of our Tides of Fantasy Realm Gatherings and BWTC Community Guilds, we’re forming the Golden Hilitai Guild: an ongoing group of tabletop adventurers ready to answer the call whenever a new contract appears.

HOW THE GUILD WORKS

Joining the Guild is FREE. Once you join, you’ll be invited into our Golden Hilitai Guild WhatsApp group, where new calls for adventurers will be announced.

Twice a month, Game Master Beccs Rhodes will lead an adventuring party through a three-hour fantasy tabletop roleplaying one-shot using 5th Edition rules.

Each adventure is limited to six players. When an adventure catches your eye, put your name forward for the party! Those who are offered a seat at the table will pay a $20 registration fee for that adventure.

Never played before? That’s okay! No prior tabletop experience is necessary. Our Game Master will guide you! Each adventure is its own story, so join when you can, skip when you can’t, and stay in the Guild for whatever adventure comes next.

And as the Guild grows, who knows what other Game Masters, adventuring parties, and stories may find their way into the realm?

🌊 ANSWER THE CALL. JOIN THE GUILD.

“Tech-nical Difficulties” Cue (Episode) 1: Why it’s important to learn how to roll your cables properly

😵‍💫 Tech-nical Difficulties is a love letter to the controlled chaos of backstage life where cues are missed, cables have minds of their own, and somehow the show still goes on.

Fall Wave 2026: Acting 101 with Jefferson Cronin

Breaking Wave Theatre Company is excited to welcome back Fall Wave, our seasonal workshop series designed to bring artists together to learn, create, and grow through hands-on training with experienced artists and educators.

This fall, we’re welcoming Jefferson Cronin to lead Acting 101, an eight-week acting studio focused on building a strong foundation in the craft of acting.

Jefferson has decades of experience as an actor, director, producer, writer, and educator. He was also part of Breaking Wave’s very first production, directing and performing in “Tuesdays with Morrie,” and we’re excited to have him return to share his experience with a new generation of performers.

Adult actors of all experience levels are welcome to apply. Whether you’re stepping into your first acting class or returning to the stage after years away, participants will explore the acting process through classical and contemporary monologues while emphasizing rehearsal, collaboration, and thoughtful discussion. The series will culminate in a public showcase.

Honing acting skills takes dedication and commitment. Participants should expect to attend every session on time, arrive fully prepared, and spend meaningful time between classes developing their work. Each session builds on the last, making regular attendance and preparation essential. This workshop is intended for those who are serious about learning more about the acting process and refining their skills.

Participation is by application only due to limited slots.

We’re excited to invite our community to experience the culmination of their work.

Join us for the Teen Storytelling Showcase, featuring a collection of songs, monologues, scenes, puppetry, and other performances explored throughout the intensive.
