I heard something the other day about asking for sponsorships that I loved...

"Donors don't give TO US, they give THROUGH US to support something meaningful in their lives." 💙

AFSP Alaska is so grateful to our sponsors who continue to support this very meaningful mission! https://afspwalks.donordrive.com/WalkSponsorships

Dear Community Partner,

The Alaska Chapter of the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention (AFSP) invites your organization to join us for the 2026 Out of the Darkness Walks; in Anchorage on September 19th and in Fairbanks on September 26, 2026. https://afsp.org/alaska

Each year, individuals, families, businesses, and community organizations come together to support AFSP's mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by su***de. Through education, advocacy, research, and support programs, AFSP is working to create a culture that is smarter about mental health and stronger in preventing su***de. We invite you or your company to get involved in one or more of the following ways:

• Become an Event Sponsor Sponsorship provides valuable visibility for your organization while demonstrating your commitment to mental health and su***de prevention in our community.

• Create a Company Walk Team Encourage your employees, friends, and family members to participate by forming a company team. Walking together is a meaningful way to promote wellness, build camaraderie, and make a positive impact in our community. Team members can also help raise funds to support AFSP's lifesaving programs.

• Host a Community Resource Table Organizations may also participate by hosting an information table at the walk. This is a great opportunity to engage with participants, share resources, and showcase your organization.

We hope you will join us in making this year's Out of the Darkness Walk a powerful day of hope, remembrance, and action. Every dollar raised helps support AFSP's work in Alaska, including community education programs, advocacy efforts, support for those impacted by su***de, and funding for critical research.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to support su***de prevention and mental health awareness in Alaska. Together, we can save lives and bring hope to those who need it most.
