Thank you to all the families, volunteers, and 4-H alumni who came to the open house yesterday!

Youth got to experience Head, Heart, Health, and Hands through interactive experiences including composting worms, a smoothie bike, bunnies, art, LEGO, and more!

Let the fun continue - start a club, join a club, get involved! We would love to support you on your 4-H learning and adventures!

Come learn about 4-H and meet club leaders and youth involved in 4-H. We are eager to support families starting their own 4-H clubs to support youth becoming “Beyond Ready” and developing lifelong skills and passions.

It would be fair to say that your kids could have displays here next year! Check out all the ways to participate at the Anchorage 4-H Open House next Saturday from 1-4 PM at the Anchorage Cooperative Extension Office at 219 E. International Airport Rd.

Anchorage 4-H has some new mascots! Red wiggler composting worms! This little worm bin was generously given by a young woman who wasn’t able to take the worms with her - so they will have a new home in the UAF CES Anchorage Outreach Center.

The worms got to have a little snack today thanks to our office Gardyn too! The sprouts were thinned this morning and after the humans all got a little snack, the worms were next to be fed. Delicious and nutritious for both vertebrates and invertebrates.
