Race day is TOMORROW, June 6th on the UAA Campus. Come stop by our table from 7:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.!

Protecting Alaskans from toxic chemicals should be a top priority, but new proposals in Congress could weaken the safeguards that keep our families and communities safe.

That’s why advocates, health professionals, veterans, and community leaders with the Alliance for Health and Safe Chemicals are urging Congress to preserve the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) — the nation’s main chemical safety law. TSCA requires the EPA to review chemicals for safety before they are widely used in products found in our homes, schools, and workplaces.

Strong chemical protections matter for Alaska. We urge Senators Lisa Murkowski and Dan Sullivan to stand with Alaskans and protect the safeguards that help keep toxic chemicals out of our communities.
