Congratulations to our Registered Nurse, Devora Soukeut, on her DAISY Award! 🌼

Developed to recognize extraordinary nurses, the DAISY Award is given to three nurses per quarter who regularly go above and beyond in the care they provide.

Here’s what a colleague wrote about Devora in their nomination:

“I am honored to nominate Devora for the DAISY Award in recognition of the extraordinary compassion, intelligence, and advocacy she brings to every patient interaction.

What sets her apart is her ability to truly meet patients where they are—emotionally, physically, and mentally. She takes the time to understand each individual’s situation, ensuring they feel heard, respected, and cared for. Her approach goes far beyond clinical care; she sees the whole person.

One of the most meaningful ways she demonstrates this is through small but powerful acts of kindness. She often offers patients haircuts and shaves—simple gestures that restore dignity and help them feel more like themselves during vulnerable moments. These acts may seem small, but they have a profound impact on how patients see themselves and their healing journey.
