The Alaska Zoo ( The Alaska Zoo ) is our Featured Ally this week and they wrote YOU a note of gratitude:

Dear FashionPACT fans,

We are excited for summer days in Alaska, and the Alaska Zoo's trails are growing busier by the day! We would like to take a moment to express our deep gratitude for the amazing support we receive from FashionPACT shoppers. FashionPACT helps so many nonprofit organizations in our community - it really is an amazing program and business model. We feel very fortunate to be an Ally organization.

The contributions you make toward the Alaska Zoo when you shop at FashionPACT benefit the zoo in many ways. The Alaska Zoo has stayed true to its roots to care for orphaned and injured wildlife, a mission that began when the gates first opened in 1969. Each spring and summer, wildlife agency biologists bring us young animals in need of urgent care and hand-raising by our dedicated Animal Care Team. Tourists appear on the trails and locals buy memberships to connect to their hometown zoo. Education programs and community events take place at a fast pace. This summer, we have added a new selection of tours and animal feedings which are popular already. When fall turns to winter, we begin school programs and prepare for Zoo Lights and winter events. Locals find peaceful, maintained zoo trails on summer evenings and on snowy winter days. All of these activities are core to our mission and our values - and they all require the funds to continue and grow.

Your FashionPACT contributions support zoo animal care, education programs, community events, facility maintenance, staffing and growth. We are planning for the future to keep the Alaska Zoo healthy and strong for generations to come. We have big changes planned over the next 10 years to benefit visitors and animals alike, and community support is vital to this growth. We appreciate your thinking of us when you check out merchandise at FashionPACT stores. We are grateful to each shopper who took the step to donate to the Alaska Zoo. We truly appreciate your support.
