What a GREAT night at Anamosa's National Night Out! 🦁💙

The Anamosa Lions Club had a blast seeing so many wonderful families, handing out candy 🍬, patriotic flag stickers 🇺🇸, and sharing a little about what our club does to serve our community.

From supporting local projects and scholarships to children's vision screening and our Flags Across Anamosa & Martelle program, we're proud to be part of what makes our community such a special place.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by our booth, visited with us, and helped make the evening so much fun! We always enjoy connecting with our neighbors—especially seeing all those smiling faces!

If you've ever wondered what the Lions Club is all about, we'd love to have you join us at a meeting or stop and say hello at one of our community events. Together, we can continue making a difference right here at home.

📣 Anamosa Lions Club Gives Back to Our Community! 🦁🇺🇸

One of the most rewarding parts of our Flags Across Anamosa & Martelle program is being able to reinvest those funds back into the communities we serve.

The Anamosa Lions Club was proud to present a $5,000 donation to Anamosa Parks & Recreation to help purchase new playground equipment for children and families to enjoy for years to come.

Every flag that flies through our Flags Across Anamosa & Martelle program helps support projects like this. What started as a way to display patriotism on six holidays each year has become a meaningful way to strengthen our communities and support local needs.

Thank you to everyone who participates in and supports our flag program. Your support allows us to continue living our Lions motto: “We Serve.”

Together, we’re making a difference—one flag, one project, and one community at a time.

SOOOOOOO EXCITED!!! 🇺🇸 Flags Across Anamosa & Martelle is almost here! 🇺🇸

Our first flags of the season will be going up later this month, and we’re excited to see Anamosa & Martelle lined with red, white, and blue once again! ❤️🤍💙

As our LCC sign will say next week — *“Do not wait to get on the list!”* Now is the perfect time to renew your spot or join the Flags Across Anamosa & Martelle program for the first time!

🦁 We are also in DESPERATE need of volunteers to help set flags this season. It’s a fun way to support our community and be part of one of Anamosa & Martelle's favorite traditions! You can volunteer for a route, a street, a day! Whatever fits your schedule! Plus you don't have to be a Lion Club member (but warning: you may find out just how much fun we are and want to join!)
