Everlasting Pheasant Preservation

Everlasting Pheasant Preservation We conduct research and use methods to prove survival rate increases for preventing future and further population dips.

Everlasting Pheasant Preservation is dedicated to increase ringneck pheasant populations through public education and focus programs with habitat and ecosystem management before introducing pheasants into locations for long term survival and wild production.

Those that were effected derecho last August have lost so many trees in they're communities. Our nonprofit is looking to replace those trees for you and for the needed food sources and habitat to insects and animals which they depend on. Trees also to provide fresh air, removal of co2 and also enjoyment to those of having their yards back and complete again. We are booking costumers now and if your looking to be booked as well, get ahold of us while their is limited time to get on the growing list! We hope to hear back soon and lets do something great for so many reasons and urgent needs in the communities.

As we predicted and announced earlier this year, the pheasant population took a hard hit from the freakish cold weather we had during the first 2 hatch seasons. We first had snow when it should have been much warmer than we had frost late and record cold nights. This hurt our programs we had hoped for unlike the prior year. And as what happened here also happened in the wild. I had spoke of this and now the dnr road side surveye map shows the drop for this year. This last hatch season we have had so much rain I also strongly assume that it has been hit even harder as the chicks in the wild are only a few weeks old when the rains came and lasted for weeks. I hope this next year is better.. nothing is harder on the pheasant than weather it's the number one killer threat

Not good news for Everlasting Pheasant Preservation, and sad news all together. Last week's record lows killed off most of last week's first hatch. The first night took a 3rd out of hundreds, the stress and cold has picked them off one by one the following days. The natural first hatching season was alreasy a disaster because of the snow we had a month and a half ago which will greatly harm the populations in the wild too. Their are limited hatching seasons all based on weather Temps. The batch that I had, the heat lamps couldn't keep up. If i had lowered them anymore it takes heat away from the sides and would cook the ones trying to bunch up in the middle. The ones that survived the initial shock, became stressed which has been killing them off daily. The few survivors I now have are only a few.... but they are past the threat as of today. This was very sad to watch them sieze up and die in your hands. We have one more hatch season here for the programs coming up. Only onr more, due to the age when we must release to survive a possible cold spell fall or early winter. The wild will have 2 hatching seasons lefy, but if cold comes early, that last wild hatch season will also be decimated. We have had a very wet spring as everyone knows, so i am not very obtamistic for this year's surveye count for wild populations. Sorry about the bad news everyone, but no one can predict the weather. This is the "LEADING CAUSE OF KILL OFFS IN PHEASANT POPULATIONS." Un predictable and extreme weather. That is why habitat is so important in the wild. They are a hardy grassland bird, but the very opposite as embryos and chicks.... We desperately need donations for the next batch as i have to double it which means more materials, building add on broods for square footage and feed as they consume a ton. We will be over populated and they will kill themselves unless I work hard to prevent this. This all has to be done to meet the conservation releases on time. ++Please help our cause by donating.++ You can click on the donation button which directly sends the funds to tell e.i.n. of Everlasting Pheasant Preservation, or you can contact us on messanger. Thank you
