We are a needs-based provider of bicycle transportation for those experiencing, or at-risk of, homelessness in our community. The barriers experienced by these individuals may be extensive, and We-Cycle strives to fill this niche service sector, in order to support these individuals. While bicycle transportation may be an ideal option for some, there are many in our community who cannot afford to
buy one, perhaps due to homelessness, addiction/recovery, recent release from incarceration, loss of employment, eviction, and refugee status. Helping these individuals is at the heart of our mission. We-Cycle works in partnership and cooperation with local bike shops to meet the varying needs in our community. If you have some resources to pay for a bike, please consider visiting these terrific local bike shops. Since we are not a full-service repair shop, we provide space for those needing bike repairs to work on their own bikes, with assistance from our trained volunteers, as available. We carry some used, spare parts or accessories which we might sell “as is” to that end. We also accept monetary donations. All proceeds go back into We-Cycle's Mission. We are volunteer-operated, and we welcome all service-oriented individuals to join us in meeting the tremendous need in our community for those experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.
