Only two days of Early Voting left! 🗳️

If you haven’t voted yet, now is the time to make your plan. Check your local polling location and hours, then get your ballot cast before Early Voting ends Friday, October 30.

And if you’re waiting until Election Day, make sure you know where you’re going and what you’ll need before November 3.

Need a ride to the polls? 🚗🗳️

Volunteers with VoterLift are offering free rides to and from polling locations for voters who need transportation.

To request a ride, call or text (806) 316-5257 and let them know when and where you need to be picked up, along with the best phone number for them to use to confirm your ride.

Their volunteer drivers will take riders to their polling location and back home. They ask that riders treat volunteers with respect and avoid discussing party preference or how they plan to vote. Their goal is simply to help people get where they need to go.

A Texas Panhandle family could use some community support. ❤️

Katie McAllister is a local single mom raising two children with serious medical needs, and the cost of traveling across Texas for specialized care has created significant financial strain for her family.

A GoFundMe has been organized to help with medical travel, groceries, utilities, transportation, and other basic needs while Katie works toward greater stability for her family.

Panhandle Democrats joins people across the country in mourning the passing of Dolores Huerta at the age of 96.

For decades, Dolores Huerta dedicated her life to organizing working people, advancing civil rights, and empowering communities to make their voices heard. Her work alongside farmworkers helped shape the American labor movement, and her commitment to grassroots organizing continued throughout her life.

Her legacy reminds us of the power ordinary people have when they organize, stand together, and refuse to accept injustice.

We extend our deepest condolences to her family, loved ones, and the countless people whose lives were touched by her work.

Panhandle Democrats is partnering with Andrea’s Project & DeBault Title and its Safe Ride Initiative to help guests get home safely. If you plan to drink, please make a plan before the party and use the Uber link in the comments.
