AATAG's Food Distribution program is looking for donations of rice to help cover a recent increase in need.

You can drop off donations at 520 SW 10th Street, the Texas Panhandle Democratic HQ.

Amarillo Area Transgender Advocacy Group AATAG, which operates a weekly food distribution serving food-insecure neighbors in Amarillo, has put out a call for help.

They are specifically requesting rice of any kind for the food boxes they distribute to local families.

They have seen a significant increase in need, including among immigrant and refugee families, and their work is an incredible example of mutual aid in action.

If you are able to help, please bring rice donations to the Texas Panhandle Democratic Headquarters, and we will make sure they get to AATAG.
You can bring goods to our upcoming monthly meeting, or drop them by the headquarters during business hours this week.

Expanding Access TOGETHER!
It was an honor to represent ARFA at the First Bloom event hosted by our friends Texas Equal Access Fund! We spent the evening listening to storytellers, and highlighting some incredible people who are doing the work right here in Texas. But most of all, we were celebrating YOU! Every person who has donated their time and resources, shared and liked our content, come and supported our events, and sharing with their communities and networks- WE ARE DOING IT!

We are expanding access to reproductive freedom, choice, and empowerment right here in the Texas Panhandle, and we couldn’t do any of it without our amazing community.

It is a blessing to be wildflowers amongst wildflowers like you.
