For us, this image from Malawi isn't just a pretty backdrop. It represents the start of a new day of shared labor, growth, and community-led progress. It brings to mind our beautiful brothers, sisters, and families waking up to tend to their farms, children walking to school, and clean water flowing. It’s a vivid reminder of the sustainable, long-term relationships we are building together.

It also brings a deep sense of gratitude. It’s a quiet moment to reflect on the day's milestones across our six pillars—whether that's a successful healthcare screening, or a thriving harvest that strengthens local food security. Lifting extreme poverty is a steady, daily journey.

We are committed for the long haul, working hand-in-hand with local leaders. Thank you for walking with our global village.

When we face environmental challenges, we believe the best solutions come from the ground up. Our brilliant partners in Malawi are the innovators, the farmers, and the leaders transforming their own landscapes.

Here is how we are cultivating resilience together:
Healing the Waters: After Cyclone Freddy, local teams rolled up their sleeves to plant 4,000+ soil-stabilizing trees along the Naisi River.

Farming for the Future: 4,304 hardworking farmers have adopted eco-friendly, climate-smart agriculture and solar-powered irrigation to protect their crops from unpredictable weather cycles.

Inspiring women's groups are pioneering eco-friendly beekeeping and producing sustainable briquettes, creating bright economic futures while safeguarding local forests.

True partnership means walking together through every season.

🌱News from Malawi!
We are filled with gratitude to share some wonderful news regarding our continued growth in Malawi, where 85% of the population live as subsistence farmers, eating only what they are able to grow.

To help increase food security, we are thrilled to announce a major milestone for Two Sisters Farm! 🎉

Our dear friend, Professor Kadzamira—who provided the original land—has once again demonstrated his incredible partnership by selling us additional farmland. This expansion allows us to deepen our commitment to the community and grow even more food.

There is so much more on the horizon as we keep building, planting, and growing together in faith and partnership.

Want to be a part of this growth? Support our farming initiatives today to help us cultivate sustainable food security and transform lives in Malawi! https://villagesinpartnership.org/our-work/

Staff Highlight: Witman Nsonkho!🚛

Our work in Malawi is made possible by the dedicated individuals on the ground who keep our mission moving—quite literally! This month, we are shining a light on Witman, our incredible driver.

Navigating the roads of Malawi requires a true heart for the mission. Despite local fuel shortages, Witman’s commitment has never wavered. He carefully prioritizes every single trip to ensure our vital water, healthcare, and food security programs stay fully supported.

From transporting medical supplies to delivering parts for new wells, Witman embodies the spirit of partnership. We are so grateful for his resilience, humility, and hard work!

Join us in saying Zikomo (thank you), Witman! 💙

As our friends touch down in Malawi today for Friendship Trip #1, our hearts and prayers are with them for a safe, impactful journey.

In the spirit of friendship and faith, we are reflecting on Exodus 2:11-15—where iconic landscapes meet profound moments of courage and grace. God often uses these powerful backdrops to call us out of our comfort zones.

What threshold is He calling you to cross?
What step do you need to take today to begin?

If you've ever felt the tug to join God in His work around the world, consider this your invitation. Answer the call, join a Friendship Trip, and witness the miraculous firsthand.

🩺 Impact Made: Thank You, Medical Team! 🌍
We are still in awe of what our incredible medical trip participants accomplished in Malawi this past week! Thanks to the tireless dedication, expertise, and compassion of this amazing team, we were able to bring life-changing healthcare to remote communities.

7,910 total patients reached and treated
10,315 clinical cases managed

To every doctor, nurse, coordinator, and volunteer who stepped up to serve—THANK YOU. You didn't just provide medical care; you brought hope, relief, and healing, changing lives one village at a time. ❤️

We also want to extend a massive thank you to our VIP family and donors whose support makes these vital medical missions possible.

Today, we pause to honor the brave individuals who made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy. As we gather with friends and family, we are deeply reminded that these privileges are a gift—one that calls us to live with open hearts and generous spirits.

At Villages in Partnership, we believe that the freedom we are afforded is a bridge to supporting our brothers and sisters in Malawi. Your generosity is what makes it possible to walk alongside these resilient communities as they build a future of food security and hope.

May we never take our blessings for granted. How are you choosing to be a blessing to others this weekend?

Volunteer Spotlight: Z Zinsitz! 🌟

We are SO grateful for our amazing tech volunteers like Z! 🙌 Z started out attending a VIP Water Walk picnic and kept saying "yes" to helping out after seeing the true impact of our work.

Why stay involved? Because Z saw firsthand the real power of what VIP does.
"The whole presentation really brought home how this work was truly a partnership, not a 'missionary model'—the projects were built on friendship and trust with the people in the villages."

We are so incredibly grateful for dedicated tech volunteers like Z who help bridge the distance between our global communities!
