Lions International Peace Poster Contest
For nearly four decades, the Lions International Peace Poster Contest has given children ages 11-13 the opportunity to share what peace means to them through art. Each year, Lions clubs around the world sponsor the contest in schools and organized youth groups, giving young people the opportunity to be recognized at local and international levels — and awarded a grand prize of $5,000.
Each year, the Allentown Lions Club sponsors student participation at Stone Bridge Middle School and picks three winners. The first place winner moves on to a regional competition. Several completion level lead to an international winner.
The Allentown Lions club gives cash prizes to the three local winners and makes a donation to the Art Department at Stone Bridge Middle School each year for their participation in this contest. Pictured below are the winners along with their beautiful posters. Congratulations to all 3 of you.
