A quick note to wish all firefighters, fire chiefs, and friends of the Arkansas fire service to wish each a very merry Christmas.

We have had several losses in the fire service this year, 5 LODD deaths. I cannot remember a year in recent times such as this. I ask that you remember each firefighter and their families (both immediate and FD) in your most sincere prayers.

On the "give thanks" side, we have so much to be grateful for. Both Faith and Families,(including FD families), are our support when times get tough. They will stand beside you in times of need. Many of you have lost members of your family, but can agree that they played an instrumental role in who you are today.




2015 is just a few days away....

1) Our 2015 membership enrollment has started
2) 2015 Legislative session is around the corner
3) Several new benefits for members in 2015...One of the best is the new
prescription drug program.....cards will be coming to you soon.
4) Conference plans are underway for June


I could go on and on........however

In closing , the message I wish to convey is

Santa is coming! He will be visiting Mount Laurel on Saturday December 14th starting at 9 am. Listen for the sirens as he will be arriving by fire truck, not sleigh on this day!

Rain date will be Saturday December 21st.

With 2013 almost over (yikes!), we need to start planning our 2014 fundraisers. Any ideas? Anyone want to get involved and help plan a fundraiser?

A big THANK YOU to everyone who supported the New Jersey Fallen Firefighters Memorial project by attending the Phillies fundraiser game on Monday, July 8. If your group took pictures send them to [email protected] and they'll be put up on our page.
