It's National Library Week 2026 📚 and we’re kicking things off with Right to Read Day, a celebration of the freedom to explore ideas, discover new perspectives, and read what speaks to you. Book challenges have been on the rise in recent years. While not every book is meant for every reader, everyone deserves the opportunity to choose what they read and explore a wide range of viewpoints.
Today, the American Library Association also releases the Top 10 Most Challenged Books of 2025 and the State of America’s Libraries Report, highlighting the importance of access, choice, and intellectual freedom. Check out how you can help protect everyone's right to read at https://uniteagainstbookbans.org/right-to-read-day/
