At BHP, we know that every home carries its own joys, challenges, victories, and burdens. Some families are celebrating answered prayers, while others are walking through difficult seasons and need a little extra hope and encouragement.

🧽 Cleaning Tip Tuesday: Hallways & Staircases Edition 🏡

These spaces get used ALL day long…which means they collect more dust, clutter, fingerprints, and dirt than we realize. A few simple tricks can make cleaning them much easier:

✨ Start at the TOP of the stairs and work your way down. Let gravity help you instead of creating extra work.

✨ Pick up clutter before cleaning. Hallways and staircases tend to become drop zones for shoes, bags, toys, and random items. Clearing the floor first makes cleaning faster and helps create a calmer space.

✨ Don’t forget the walls! Handprints, scuffs, and marks build up quickly—especially on stairways. A microfiber cloth, gentle cleaner, or even a light touch with a magic eraser can make a huge difference.

✨ Use vacuum attachments on carpeted stairs. Those small tools that came with your vacuum? They’re perfect for corners, edges, and stair treads.

Small details like these help keep a home feeling fresh, peaceful, and cared for. 🩵

🇺🇸❤️ This Memorial Day weekend, we pause to remember.

We honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We are grateful for their courage, their service, and the families who continue to carry that loss.

As we gather with loved ones around cookouts, vacations, and extra time at home, may we also remember those who may be carrying heavy burdens this weekend…widows, veterans, caregivers, families navigating illness, or those simply overwhelmed by life.

At BHP, we believe small acts of kindness can make a big impact. A cleaned home. A helping hand. A reminder that someone cares.

💙 This weekend we encourage you to:
• Check in on someone who may be struggling
• Offer help without being asked
• Pray for military families and those grieving loss
• Nominate a family who could use support through BHP
• Thank those who have served

Freedom is a gift. Serving others is one way we can honor it.

Things really got bad with my year off for congestive heart failure and I didn't realize just how bad it was. Sometimes it is good to have poor vision! Blessings to you and pass them on to lan. Each of our home cleaning projects include conversation. Many of our recipients get limited social interaction time and they have great stories to share. Our team makes sure we not only refresh the physical home by cleaning spaces, but also refresh the spirits of our homeowners as well by listening and offering prayer. 🙏🏻
