Moon Area Soccer Association Moon Area Soccer Association Moon Area Soccer Association (MASA) is a nonprofit, 100% volunteer run youth soccer organization.

Our mission is to provide a top-quality soccer experience to the children and parents of Moon Township and the surrounding communities. Our goal is to promote and elevate the standards of sportsmanship and fair play among the youth of our community. MASA's philosophy emphasizes development of soccer skills, knowledge of the laws of soccer, and good sporting behavior. Parental involvement is our strength, and player fulfillment is our ambition.

MASA is looking for referees (Minimum age of 12) for its Fall 2026 Inhouse program. Refereeing is a great job for our youth, offering responsibility, a sense of community and a good wage ($20/game). It's also a great activity for NHS, college and scholarship applications. No prior knowledge is required. Games are Saturdays during the 8 week MASA season, generally in the morning. This season's games start on Saturday, September 12th.

Training for the Fall season will be offered on both Monday, August 31st and Wednesday, September 9th, 6:00 PM at Discovery Field, and should only last about an hour. If your child is a returning referee, please let me know they are participating for the Fall season, and I encourage them to attend the training for a refresher. If your child will be a first year referee, see you at the clinic. They only need to attend 1 session, but are welcome to attend both. If you are unable to make either let me know and we can try to make other arrangements. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me.

Incase of inclement weather, check the moonsoccer.org website for field closure.
