A great day today at the Fisher House's Anniversary. Our very own Vicki "Vanila" Olgilvie was recognized by her leadership for the outstanding work, commitment and professionalism that she exemplifies working at the VA and the Fisher House. Congratulations Vanila and thank you for working at the VA and Fisher House! The house is amazing.

Sunday morning at 0830hrs, at our motel we were met by Post 25, ALR Chapter 2 Riders that escorted us out to Ft. Sumner. We arrived at our Post around 1400hrs with lots of fan fare, food and fun. Our Director Rick "Ponch" De La Rosa presented the Never Forgotten Traveling Eagle to the post and Commander Stevens. It was an end of a great 2 day ride. Thank you Chapter 2 for a great weekend, Post 69 and Commander Stevens for the food, support and leadership.

Today we rode to Post 25 Chapter 2 in Clovis NM to claim the Never Forgotten Traveling Eagle. 6 bikes, 4 trikes & 2 cages totaling 16 people. Post 85, Chapter 29's Director OC and his wife Cristi rode with us. Lil Max brought a couple friends on bikes that rode with us. It was a beautiful day to ride. Thank you Chapter 2 for the food, hospitality and commarade. We had a great time. We should be back at our post around 2pm Sunday.

Good morning all. Yesterday we met at the Post, drank coffee and ate cupcakes. We then took off on our Buddy Check Ride. We hopped on our bikes and rode to the VA hospital to visit with our Chapter 10 members/family, Dave "Sarge" Cortese and his wife Sue. The chapter gave them a small bouquet and a nice card signed by those that rode and from Post members. They were both very happy and grateful to see all of us. Dadeo even rode his HOG. We then rode through town via Tramway to 4th St. to Post 69 for their American Legion and family annual registration event. We thank the Post for providing the meal and the Montoya's for cooking and preparing the food. Thank you Lila and Zap for the great pictures.

ALR State Picnic 2026 Caballo Lake hosted by Chapter 4 Las Cruces. September 18th-20th. 4 of us Riders and 1 Post member. We took "Big Momma" out for her second trip since we bought her, 3 weeks ago. We got there on Friday afternoon, Riders from Chapter 4 were already set up and ready for the weekend. We visited and had hamburgers for dinner, a little karaoke and some corn hole was what was on the agenda for Friday night. Great comaraderie with a few riders from Chapter 29 Los Lunas and Chapter 4. It was great seeing everyone as it had been a long minute since the last time we all got together. Saturday morning we all had breakfast and in the afternoon they took a ride out to Hatch. A few of us stayed behind to visit and enjoy the afternoon with beautiful weather after the rain. It was such a chill afternoon. Saturday evening we all had an amazing meal, pulled pork sandwiches and all the sides. Sunday we had breakfast and packed up to come home. We had an amazing time! A big shout out to Chapter 4 Las Cruces for all your hard work putting this weekend together and all the wonderful meals and drinks. What a fantastic weekend, making great memories. Another one for the books!

Yesterday a few of us from our Chapter rode to the State picnic for the day. A group of us rode to Hatch to relax, socialize and see some local sites. Found a lost dog, contacted her owner and all was good. Ride back we caught the tail end of a hail and rain storm about 7 miles north of Lemitar. It was pretty bad riding in it for about 10 minutes. Everyone survived all good and safe. Great food and a nice group of people at the picnic. Thank you Lila for the great pics and video.
