Albuquerque Pride Annual General Meeting

Albuquerque Pride’s Annual General Meeting is coming up!
Join us as we come together to elect our 2026–2027 Board of Directors and discuss the budget for the new fiscal year.

Date: Sunday, August 23, 2026
Location: Truman Health UNM Truman Health Services 801 Encino Place NE, Building C1 Albuquerque, NM 87102

Executive Board Positions Up for Election
The following positions are open:
* President — 3-year term
* Vice President of Operations — 2-year term
* Vice President of Marketing & Public Relations — 2-year term
* Secretary — 2-year term
Executive Board candidates must have completed at least one previous year-long Albuquerque Pride Board term.

Director Positions
There are also 15 Director positions available, each serving a 1-year term.
No previous board experience is required to run for a Director position!

Position descriptions are available are included with this post.
Come be part of shaping the future of Albuquerque Pride! Your voice, your experience, and your participation matter. We encourage all eligible members interested in serving to join us for this important meeting.

Attention:
Due to Juneteenth celebrations this week, Santa Fe Pride next weekend and other pride events going on throughout the month we will be canceling the June Board meeting.

We will reconvene with the July meeting on July 19th.

* This year there will be re-entry privileges (in&out)

* Vapes will be allowed into Civic Plaza.

* Animals (except certified s services animals or service animals in training)
* Audio/video recording equipment other than personal cell phones
* “Colors” or any other form of gang affiliation
Coolers
* Drones/Unmanned Aerial *Vehicles (UAVs)
*Glass bottles
*Fireworks
*Fi****ms or other weapons including, but not limited to knives, clubs, OC Spray, etc.
Except by commissioned law enforcement officers or those permitted under the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA)

*Horns or noise makers or other items intended to disrupt an event
*Illegal substances or items of any kind
*Laser devices/pointers

*Purses/bags larger than 5.5” x 8.5” unless clear
No outside food or beverages
For the purposes of the Plaza, event associated Food Trucks are not considered “outside food”
* Skateboards, rollerblades, scooters, bicycles cannot be ridden on the Plaza
* Sticks, clubs (medically required canes are permitted)
Including signs affixed to sticks
Unapproved pamphlets, fliers, etc.
* Canopies or large umbrellas
