New Mexico are you ready for your final Albuquerque PrideFest 2026 Headliner announcement????

She is the the VOICE of Drag, the amazing, the beautiful
ADA VOX!!!!!!! 👏👏

Ada Vox
A San Antonio based drag queen who sang her heart out on ABC’s “American Idol,” Ada became a Semi-finalist, something that would have been unheard of several years ago. Her appearance marks a first for the show, and people still talk about her performance of The Animals “House of the Rising Sun” as one of the stand-out auditions of the season.

Ada has released her first single “Because of You” written by Janice Robinson (Kristine W., Deborah Cox) and produced by Bimbo Jones (Rihanna, Kylie Minogue, Lady Gaga). She’s excited to share it with all the people ( ) who embraced her on this go-round of American Idol and to brand new audiences as she continues to tour the globe.

What’s next for Ada? The Sky seems to be the limit.

This PrideFest is going to be EPIC. As a community we are going to be BIGGER and LOUDER then ever. They can try their best to break our community. We will stand in UNITY not only to celebrate PRIDE but to stand in PROTEST, WE are NOT going ANYWHERE! None of us are free until all of us are free!!!

So join us Saturday June 13th from 1:30pm to 8:30 pm at Civic Plaza downtown. There will be music flowing, dancing, vendors, delicious food trucks, sweet treat trucks,amazing entertainment, and of course enormous PRIDE!

Put your hands together for The true DRAG RACE LEGEND herself.... SHANNEL!!

Shannel:
Born and raised in Southern California, Bryan Watkins has taken the world by storm for 30 years as female illusionist, Shannel.

Flourishing in the entertainment field young in life, Watkins’ interests in art, design and production were evident beginning early in his childhood. Mastering the skills of illustration, juggling, riding a unicycle plus a roster of similar attributes, his path for the stage was clear- and at age 15, Shannel was born.

In 2001, Bryan was offered a permanent position at internationally recognized Gypsy Nightclub, Las Vegas’ premier LGBT establishment, and remained their head producer and host of his own show, Illusion, for 9 years. Living in the “entertainment capital of the world” Vegas suited the young entertainer as he established himself as a regular cast member of the famous “La Cage” at the Riviera Hotel (later developed into “Frank Marino’s Divas”).

As luck would have it, a new reality show was in bloom and looking for contestants for their first season. Producers contacted Bryan, explaining the premise of what we now call RuPauls Drag Race. In the wake of the premiere of the first season,

Bryan traveled the country gaining notoriety and a solid fan base for years to come.

In 2018, Bryan started a Christmas rental and design company, Santa’s Helpers Design. His participation and triumphant win on “The Great Christmas Light Fight” in 2022, has allowed his company to flourish and during the holiday season. Currently, you can find him every weekend at Voss Events’ Drag Brunch located inside Hard Rock Cafe on the Vegas strip and Las Vegas’ premier gay nightclub, Piranha.

It's time to announce your next Pridefest 2026 headliner SPACEE KADET!

Spacee Kadet:
Originally from Detroit, MI, Spacee Kadett is a Los Angeles-based drag king and comedian. Spacee has performed across the US (and even in Canada!) for nearly two decades, earning nine pageant titles along the way.

Most notably, in 2011, he became the first drag artist ever to capture the title of National Entertainer of the Year King.

Spacee has appeared on CBS’s “Let’s Make a Deal,” in Hulu’s “Pride Never Stops” ad campaign, and in a number of publications, including the Dutch magazine “Et Alors?” and Jenettha J. Baines’ “100 of the Most Influential Gay Entertainers” Vol. II. Spacee is also the star of the farcical late night show “Already Late!” now streaming on spaceekadett.com.

He is both honored and excited to celebrate fifty beautiful years of Albuquerque Pride!

Happy Friday New Mexico.

Pride month is quickly approaching and even though Pride is a celebration and a protest of which many have paved the way for us.
We must also remember those who have been lost along the way and honor them.

Join MPower and Albuquerque Pride for this years Trans Lives March. We will be starting at 6:00pm at MPower and marching down to Morningside Park. (Unable to make the march, please still join us at Morningside Park).

There we will be holding the Candlelight Vigil in remembrance of all those we have lost. We will have speakers, luminarias and a Community Ofrenda. If you have a loved one from our community whom is no longer with us, please feel free to being a photo to share and add to the Community Ofrenda.

We look forward to sharing in this special and heartfelt moment with you all.

Eureka O'Hara is an internationally recognized drag entertainer, television personality, and LGBTQ+ advocate best known for her unforgettable appearances on RuPaul's Drag Race Seasons 9 and 10, as well as RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars.

Known as “The Elephant Queen,” Eureka has built a global fanbase through her powerhouse performances, comedy, authenticity, and larger-than-life personality.

Beyond the stage, Eureka has become a passionate voice for the LGBTQ+ community, using her platform to uplift and support trans individuals during a time when trans rights and visibility are under attack across the country.

Through her work on We're Here and appearances nationwide, she continues advocating for acceptance, equality, and safe spaces for q***r and trans communities. Her message of unity, self-love, and unapologetic authenticity has made her not only a standout entertainer, but also a powerful community leader and activist.
