🇺🇸❤️ OUR COMMUNITY IS STRUGGLING. VMC IS SEEING IT EVERY SINGLE DAY. ❤️🇺🇸
With the closing of the VA clinic in Downtown Schenectady
Veterans Miracle Center has seen a tremendous increase in need.
But the truth is, this is bigger than one clinic.
Veterans and military families throughout our community are struggling—and more of them are finding their way to our doors.
For more than a decade, VMC has assisted upwards of 40,000 Veterans, service members and military family members.
And we’ve done it on a shoestring budget.
No federal grants.
No state funding.
Just grassroots community support. ❤️
We may look like a big organization from the outside, but behind the scenes, VMC is truly a small, mom-and-pop nonprofit with a very BIG mission.
And somehow, every day, we make miracles happen.

❤️ AND SOMETIMES THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS WE GIVE COST ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
Dignity.
Respect.
Connection.
A conversation.
A cup of coffee.
And someone saying:
“Thank you for your service. How can we help?”
That is VMC.
We proudly work alongside and support many of the larger organizations serving Veterans in our community.
Some have access to millions of dollars in funding and tremendous resources—and yet Veterans are still referred to our little storefront when they need immediate, practical assistance.
And when they arrive?
We take care of them.
Every item in our storefront goes directly to a Veteran, service member or military family who needs it.
Every dollar we raise goes back into our military community.
And we fundraise 24/7 because the need doesn’t stop.
📣 𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑺 𝑰𝑺 𝑾𝑯𝑬𝑹𝑬 𝑾𝑬 𝑵𝑬𝑬𝑫 𝒀𝑶𝑼𝑹 𝑯𝑬𝑳𝑷.
We would LOVE to attend every resource fair, community event, ceremony and gathering.
We simply cannot be everywhere.
When our doors are open, our team needs to be where the Veterans are—right here, serving them.
