They defended everyone, now who’s defending them?
Seems like we are being forgotten 😢AGAIN
🚨 WARNING: THIS IS A LONG POST. BUT IF YOU VALUE THE PEOPLE WHO DEFENDED THIS COUNTRY, PLEASE READ IT.
Every day, we see posts calling attention to people who need support.
The underserved. The underprivileged. Those at risk. Those facing barriers and unique challenges.
They deserve our compassion and our support.
But far too often, we look at those lists and notice someone missing.
Our Veterans.
Our Active-Duty Service Members.
Our military families.
The people who stood up and said, “I will serve.”
The people who left their families, surrendered pieces of their own freedom, missed births, birthdays, holidays and ordinary moments most of us take for granted.
Some came home with scars.
Some came home carrying battles nobody could see.
Some almost didn’t come home.
And some never did.
Behind every one of them is a family that served in its own way too.
At Veterans Miracle Center, these men and women will NEVER be an afterthought.
There is no political party attached to that statement.
There is no agenda.
There is simply gratitude, responsibility and a promise that those who served this country deserve to know their community still stands beside them.
VMC serves Veterans, Active-Duty Service Members and their immediate families with necessities including brand-new clothing, shoes, food, hygiene and personal-care products, household necessities and much more, provided free of charge.
But VMC is more than the things on our shelves.
It’s Veterans sitting down with other Veterans.
It’s camaraderie.
It’s a military family knowing there is somewhere to turn.
It’s dignity.
It’s connection.
It’s walking through a door and realizing you still matter.
Our VMC family includes Veterans, combat Veterans, Purple Heart recipients, Active-Duty Service Members, military families, Gold Star families, survivors of military and Veteran su***de loss, and people who understand firsthand the price that can accompany service.
This is who we are.
This is who we stand beside.
This is why these doors matter.
And now we need people standing beside us.
🚨 WITHOUT COMMUNITY SUPPORT, THESE DOORS CANNOT STAY OPEN.
We cannot operate on Facebook likes alone.
We cannot stock shelves with good intentions.
We cannot provide transportation, keep a building operating, purchase urgently needed items and continue serving military families on gratitude alone.
We need action.
And some of the people who continually step forward to support us are Veterans themselves.
Think about that.
After everything they already gave, Veterans are reaching back to help their brothers and sisters.
They should not have to carry this mission alone.

Financial contributions allow us to purchase the specific sizes, products and necessities our Service Members and families need when donated inventory doesn’t match the need.
