What is a grief ally? Coined by Ally Bird, grief allyship is the intentional act of supporting and advocating for a grieving person. It goes beyond vague promises to be there or telling them to ask for help. It’s the unconditional love, empowerment, and reverence for their unique experience with grief. How would you like your grief allies to show up for you?

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. On this Memorial Day, we hold space for the grief carried by so many families, spouses, parents, children, and loved ones whose loss is felt every day. 🇺🇸

At HOPE Connection, we know that grief does not follow a timeline, and no one should have to walk through it alone. Whether your loss is recent or years ago, support and connection can make a difference. Call (818)788-HOPE(4673) to join!

We are holding you in our hearts today. ❤️

During grief you might begin to wonder when you’ll “get over” your grief and go back to “normal.” But the hard truth is that you won’t get over it and things won’t go back to normal. Your life is fundamentally different now but you’ll find that over time you settle into a new normal.

HOPE Connection can help you with this transition to your new normal. Our therapist led grief support groups can give you the tools to navigate this journey and the community support to help you through it. Call (818)788-HOPE(4673) to join!

Grief changes the way we hold the people we love.
Even when they are no longer physically here, their voice, their laughter, their warmth, and the love they gave us continue to live within us. 🤍

If you’re carrying the loss of a spouse or parent, you don’t have to walk through it alone. HOPE Connection offers therapist-led grief support groups throughout the Los Angeles area for those seeking understanding, connection, and healing.

When grief changes everything, it can feel like your heart no longer knows where it belongs.

At HOPE Connection, we often see how loss doesn’t just stay in one place—it moves, reshapes, and shows up in unexpected ways. Grief isn’t something you “get over”… it’s something you learn to carry as life changes around you.

If your grief has been feeling restless lately, you’re not alone—and there are words for what you’re experiencing.

You don’t have to navigate this alone. Our therapist-led support groups offer a place to be understood, supported, and gently held through it all. Call (818)788-HOPE(4673) to join!

Some losses can’t be fixed… but they don’t have to be faced alone.

Grief can feel isolating, especially after losing a spouse or a parent. But healing begins when you’re surrounded by people who truly understand—who listen, sit with you, and walk beside you through it all.

At HOPE Connection, our therapist-led support groups create a space where your story is heard, your pain is honored, and you don’t have to carry it by yourself.

You don’t have to go through this alone. Call (818) 788-HOPE (4673) to join a group today.
