If any of you women who had estrogen positive breast cancer and are on a estrogen blocker, I will get right to the point by talking about how it effects our va**na and how dry it gets. My oncologist never told me about an estrogen suppository that you insert for one week every night and then once a week. I heard it from my nurse practitioner that you can safely use this. It will not spread to any parts of the body and let me tell you it’s life-changing.

I recently learned about Healing Odyssey from an oncolgy nurse. A three day retreat where women cancer survivors learn to be strong, hopeful and courageous through innovative and active education and support programs. My daughter Lindsey underwent a double mastectomy. She too had the Check 2 gene and had already removed her fallopian tubes. She found out she has cancerous cells and made the very difficult decision to undergo preventive treatment. Thank god she did because the biopsy did conclude very early Breast Cancer. It's so important to be your own advocate and to make the right decision to stay cancer free.
I am curious what other women have done when faced with this type of situation>

How many women who have Estrogen Positive Breast Cancer that are now on anti-estrogen medication who struggle with the many side effects it produces. I am six years out but still struggle with the after effects of my medication. I want to start a virtual post treatment community to discuss, share and listen to professionals with all women who have finished treatment, on medications that change how you look and feel. I know I often feel lost and isolated. How many of you would be interested in a safe place to share and talk about life beyond cancer? Let me know your thoughts.
