On 1 October, IOM Timor-Leste convened the 2nd Technical Working Group (TWG) meeting on the MIDAS Phase II project, chaired by Migration Services. Government partners came together to review progress and agree on next steps for expanding the Migration Information and Data Analysis System (MIDAS) to three additional Border Crossing Points.

Discussions focused on:
✅ Project progress
✅ Preparations for Q4 2026 Work Plan
✅ Follow-up on issues raised at the first TWG in May
✅ Clear roles and timelines for each institution

This capacity-building initiative was designed to strengthen participants' IT skills and enhance knowledge management practices within Timor-Leste's migration systems.
