A collective of weavers across Timor-Leste. The creation of the Rede Soru Na’in (Weavers Network) is part of the National Tais Safeguarding Plan, presented under the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage proposal. The Rede Soru Na’in will enable a collective voice that empowers weavers and advocates for their interests and rights. Tais weaving, besides being the utmost expression of the national identity and cultural heritage of Timor-Leste, is a sustainable sector with the potential to enable rural women to be economically empowered.

Uma rede de tecedeiras em Timor-Leste. A criação da Rede Soru Na’in (Rede de Tecedeiras) faz parte do Plano Nacional de Salvaguarda dos Tais, apresentado no âmbito da proposta a Património Cultural Imaterial da UNESCO. A Rede Soru Na'in dará uma voz colectiva às tecedeiras que contribuirá para o seu empoderamento e defesa dos seus interesses e direitos. A tecelagem de Tais, para além de ser a expressão máxima da identidade e do património cultural de Timor-Leste, é um sector sustentável com potencial para capacitar economicamente as mulheres rurais.
