宗乡总会成立于1985年，时任总理李显龙于2011年担任首任赞助人，2024年现任总理兼财政部长黄循财接任第二任赞助人。
SFCCA was formed in 1985, with then-Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong as its first Patron in 2011, succeeded by Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong as its second Patron in 2024. 主要宗旨：
- 加强华人宗乡会馆的密切合作
- 主办或资助有关教育、文化、社会等方面的活动
- 提高公众对华族语文、文化和传统的认识

6月5日，宗乡总会迎来了一群来自新加坡中华总商会"实习奖学金“学习之旅”项目的同学们。

在导览员的带领下，实习生们打卡了历史走廊，仿佛穿越时空般深入探索了新加坡华人传统文化的根基。🌱 大家不仅深刻体会到了早期宗乡会馆如何奠定华社发展的基础，也了解了这些文化机构在现代的与时俱进。🚀✨

On 5 June, we were delighted to host a vibrant group from the SCCCI Internship Award Learning Journey Programme right here at SFCCA.

Through a guided tour of our History Gallery, the interns stepped back in time to explore the deep roots of Singapore’s Chinese heritage. They gained invaluable insights into how early clan associations shaped our community's foundations and how these cultural institutions continue to evolve today. 🚀✨

That’s a wrap for our Tracing Roots, Building Harmony Heritage Tour! 🎬✨

On 23 May, our participants took a deep dive into Singapore’s living history with guided tours of Chinatown Heritage Centre and the Harmony in Diversity Gallery.
