宗乡总会成立于1985年，时任总理李显龙于2011年担任首任赞助人，2024年现任总理兼财政部长黄循财接任第二任赞助人。
SFCCA was formed in 1985, with then-Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong as its first Patron in 2011, succeeded by Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong as its second Patron in 2024. 主要宗旨：
- 加强华人宗乡会馆的密切合作
- 主办或资助有关教育、文化、社会等方面的活动
- 提高公众对华族语文、文化和传统的认识

On 17 October, the symposium brought together participants from diverse backgrounds to explore how Chinese language and culture in Singapore are preserved, passed down and continue to evolve in our multicultural society. Cultural heritage is a journey we take together! SFCCA will continue to champion the transmission of Chinese language and culture, keeping our traditions alive and thriving for generations to come. ❤️

重阳节定于农历九月初九，是一个倡导登高望远、赏菊品茗的传统佳节。在新加坡华社，这也是一个慎终追远的重要日子，人们通过祭祖和扫墓来缅怀先辈。节日核心在于弘扬敬老、尊贤与感恩的优良价值观，让华人传统代代相传。

Double Ninth Festival, falling on the 9th day of the 9th lunar month, is a traditional occasion for hiking, appreciating chrysanthemums, and enjoying tea. The festival promotes the virtues of respecting the elderly and practicing gratitude, ensuring that these cherished Chinese values are passed down through generations.

10月9日，新加坡宗乡会馆联合总会（SFCCA）与新加坡社科大学（SUSS）携手举办“活动管理与社交媒体运营”课程。

课程为参与者提供了学习与交流的平台，帮助大家进一步提升活动策划、统筹管理及社交媒体运用方面的知识与技能。宗乡总会将继续通过培训与合作，为社区注入实用技能与新思维，协助大家更有效地与公众互动，并为未来各类活动的策划与执行做好准备。

On 9 October, SFCCA collaborated with the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) to conduct the Events Management and Social Media course.

The session provided participants with opportunities to strengthen their knowledge and skills in event planning, management and social media engagement. Through continued learning and collaboration, SFCCA hopes to empower more people with practical skills and fresh perspectives to better engage audiences and support the planning and ex*****on of future events.
