We recently took to the streets at Lucky Plaza, Peninsula Plaza, and City Plaza for our Jalan & Connect outreach, where we had the privilege of engaging with over 540 of our migrant brothers and sisters. In partnership with the Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP) School of Business & Accountancy, students from the Diploma in International Trade & Business contributed to building real community connections by engaging residents in meaningful conversations and shared experiences.

The highlight? Seeing our Skills Development (SD) students bridge language barriers by speaking the native tongues of our migrant friends. It was equally inspiring to watch the NP students step out of their comfort zones and genuinely connect through heart-to-heart conversations about their personal journeys and life in Singapore. 🗣️❤️

Thank you to everyone who made this possible. When we listen, we build a more inclusive home for all. 🇸🇬🫶

When D first arrived in Singapore, she never imagined facing domestic troubles, a difficult divorce, and the overwhelming reality of being a single mother in a foreign country.

There were many days when the grueling, uphill struggle made her feel like giving up entirely. Yet, looking at her children, she found the strength to keep putting one foot in front of the other, refusing to quit for the sake of their future.

Her story is a powerful reminder that the heaviest paths aren’t meant to be walked alone. That is why ACMI’s 2026 fundraising campaign, Journey With___, matters so much.

Inspired by the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage, this campaign raises support for low-income and vulnerable migrants in Singapore who are fighting their own quiet battles.

You can step up and walk alongside them. Here is how you can support the migrants:

Beyond their daily care and long hours, many of our migrant sisters face deep isolation and the challenge of building a future while so far from home. 🏠 Education is their bridge to confidence and new opportunities. 📖

By sponsoring her course fees, you’re telling them that they are valued. ✨ As our student Siri shares, ACMI turned her shyness into the confidence she needs to grow: “I joined to continue learning, improve myself, and build confidence for the future.” 📈 Read her story here: acmi.org.sg/finding-confidence-and-community/

Help us empower these incredible women. 💪 Every dollar counts, and there’s no minimum to give. Click here: https://rebrand.ly/bccc26 to donate and give the gift of education today! 💙

Eid Mubarak! 🌙

For the many migrants who call Singapore their home away from home, Hari Raya Haji is more than a celebration. It is a season that stirs quiet longing for family left behind.

A warm smile, a sincere greeting, or a shared treat costs nothing ,but to someone far from home, it can mean everything.

This Hari Raya Haji, let’s celebrate not just with those beside us, but for those among us. With welcome. With compassion. With togetherness.

Selamat Hari Raya Haji to all.

Celebrating Labour Day with hearts and hands! ❤️ We headed to Kranji and Sembawang Recreation Centres for the MOM Labour Day Concert.

It was more than 600 migrant brothers who made the day special — pouring their hearts into deep conversations and crafting bead pieces to send home to the ones they miss most.🏠✈️ From colourful beads to even brighter smiles, it was a beautiful reminder of the power of community. 😊🙌

A massive thank you to our volunteers for teaching the craft and sharing so much joy! And special thanks to the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) for having us!

Want to make more days like this possible? Every dollar goes a long way. Donate now to help us bring more moments of joy and belonging to our migrant brothers. You can also volunteer with us! 👉 acmi.org.sg
