When Jith moved to Singapore in 2011, the isolation was heavy—he even missed his first child’s birth with no easy way to call home. But he persevered. Rising from a migrant worker to a dormitory manager, he now mentors lonely newcomers, helping them navigate emotional struggles and reconnect with their families.

His story is the heart of ACMI’s 2026 campaign, Journey With___. Inspired by the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage, it supports migrants in Singapore quietly overcoming isolation and building brighter futures. Now, you can walk alongside them.

Migrants carry the heavy weight of holding everything together for families back home, often forced to journey alone. Inspired by the Camino de Santiago, ACMI's Journey With___ campaign ensures they never have to go it alone again, because now we can walk alongside them as they overcome isolation and build brighter futures.

Through our Skills Development programmes, ACMI journeys together with them every step of the way, equipping them with the gift of education and new opportunities. Donate to support these programmes and walk beside them toward a brighter path forward.

When Sofi moved to Singapore for a better life, she struggled to communicate and find her footing. But she refused to give up. Through ACMI’s baking classes, she discovered a lifelong passion — and eventually grew into an Advanced Baking trainer who now volunteers to empower other newcomers just like her.

Her story is the heart of ACMI’s 2026 campaign, Journey With___. Inspired by the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage, it supports migrants in Singapore quietly overcoming isolation and building brighter futures. Now, you can walk alongside them.
