学院成立于1984年，之后于1996年，由一所政府资助开办的教育培训中心，成功提升为目前的管理学院。学院为各阶层人士提供多样化的课程，包括公司/业界领袖、高级经理、专业人士，以及本地学生。课程种类主要为三种：商务课程、文化语言课程、技术培训、以及根据客户所需而特别制定的培训课程。由于学院是新加坡中华总商会的附属机构之一，我们提供的课程大多以中文为主，以便为各界华商及中小企业服务。

学院凭借过去29年的经验，在整体内部运作上已经有了周全的协调，这都为学员创造了最有利的学习环境。为了使学院能够继续提升各方面的水平，我们坚信倾听学员反馈的重要性。因此，除了与学员在课堂上直接进行交流的方式，学院还建立了一套学员反馈机制，让所有学员能够提出对学院做出反馈和提出建议。我们希望所有的学员都能充分利用我们的设施及资源，以便在学习过程中充分获益。
