Celebrating International Women’s Day with the SCCCI Career Women's Group 新加坡中华总商会事业女性组 (CWG)!

On 8 March, members and guests gathered for the SCCCI CWG International Women’s Day Conference & Dinner, with Minister for Digital Development and Information & Minister-in-charge of Smart Nation and Cybersecurity, Ms Josephine Teo, as Guest-of-Honour.

From an engaging keynote by Ms Chin Wei Jia (HMI Medical Group) to a lively panel discussion with Ms Win Win Tint (City Holdings Myanmar) and Ms Sherie Ng (Singlife Philippines), moderated by Mr Mark Lee (SCCCI Tech Committee Chairman), participants shared valuable insights on leadership, growth and collaboration.

Today, CWG has grown into a vibrant community of close to 1,000 members — a testament to the dedication of our past and present leaders and the strong spirit of support within the network.

As we celebrate International Women’s Day and SCCCI’s 120-year journey, we look forward to continuing to empower one another and nurturing the next generation of leaders.

A meaningful chapter comes to a close as SCCCI Career Women’s Group (CWG) marked the Mentorship Programme Graduation & Networking Night on Friday, 23 January 2026. 🌟

It was an evening filled with reflection, gratitude and connection, as mentors and mentees gathered to celebrate a season of growth, sharing their journeys, lessons learned, and the bonds formed along the way. The presentation of certificates symbolised not just the completion of a programme, but the start of new friendships, networks and aspirations.

Thank you to all our dedicated mentors and passionate mentees for making this journey so enriching. Here’s to the conversations, the encouragement, and the many futures shaped through mentorship. 💐

✨ First connections, lasting impact!

Yesterday, our SCCCI Career Women's Group 新加坡中华总商会事业女性组 (CWG) Mentorship Programme kicked off with its first mentor–mentee meet-up.

Mentors and mentees had the chance to network, exchange experiences, and begin their journey together. It was an inspiring start as mentees got to meet their individual mentors for the very first time, setting the stage for growth, learning, and mutual empowerment. 💼🤝✨

Enchanting Thailand: A Journey of Cultures & Connectivity 🇹🇭

19 July 2025 - In collaboration with the Royal Thai Embassy, Singapore - สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ สิงคโปร์, last Saturday’s CWG Ambassador Series networking event brought together the SCCCI Career Women's Group 新加坡中华总商会事业女性组 and members of the Thai business community in Singapore.

Guests were warmly welcomed by H.E. Ureerat Chareontoh, Royal Thai Ambassador to Singapore, and enjoyed a cultural and business exchange filled with authentic Thai cuisine, traditional performances, and insights into business opportunities in Thailand.
