Our Metta colleagues have been diligently working alongside OperaWorks Singapore in preparation for Radiance of Compassion: Voices Across Borders, Hearts as One, a special evening of Cantonese Opera in support of Metta Welfare Association. ❤️

We are delighted to partner with OperaWorks - Singapore for the first time, bringing together the rich heritage of Catonese opera and our shared spirit of compassion.

Behind every performance are hours of practice, dedication and teamwork. We look forward to seeing their hard work come to life on stage on 1 November at the historic Kreta Ayer People’s Theatre!

🐠 Metta Family Day 2026

A day of discovery, laughter and bonding!

Our Metta staff and their families enjoyed a fun-filled outing to the Singapore Oceanarium, followed by a lovely lunch together. Beyond exploring the wonders of the ocean, it was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen family bonds, create lasting memories and help families gain a deeper appreciation for the work their loved ones do in supporting persons with disabilities and underserved communities.

On 7 November 2026, join us for the Medicine Buddha Birthday Lamp Blessing Ceremony and dedicate a lamp to your loved ones, offering heartfelt prayers for peace, good health and well-being.

Beyond the lamp offerings, your participation also brings hope to those in need. All proceeds will go towards supporting the essential services and programmes of Metta Welfare Association, helping us continue our mission of caring for individuals and families in our community.

This Children’s Day, we celebrate our students at Metta Preschool @ Punggol, Metta School and Maitri School for who they are, the joy they bring and all that they are capable of achieving.
