Society for health, Education and Development (SHED) started its journey from the year 2008 with an invigorating and dynamic team of development professionals and practitioners. It began with a team of five key professionals in programming, management, finance and communications. With a forward looking approach, the organization launched its education project while taking social mobilization as a

tool of engagement across all of its programs. As a result, SHED was started in piloting of a social mobilization to aware the basic rights of people as a self-initiative specially keeping in view disaster management, education, health & WASH. The journey continued and the organization kept growing. SHED vigorously engaged with the young people in disaster activities as a volunteers these huge number of Youth Generation Supported Flood affected communities in year 2010-2014.
