Growing a Greener Future for Our Children

As part of the ELEVATE Project, Bedari conducted a Community Engagement Session focusing on the prevention of early child marriage and the importance of girls’ education. Alongside the awareness discussion, community members participated in a meaningful tree plantation activity to promote a clean, green, and safe environment.

The activity highlighted that just as we nurture trees for a healthier future, we must also nurture, protect, and educate our children so they can grow, learn, and reach their full potential.

Through community participation, we continue to promote child protection, girls’ education, environmental responsibility, and a safer future for generations to come. Together, let’s grow a cleaner, greener, and more empowered Pakistan.

Building Financially Stronger Communities

A Financial Literacy Training was successfully conducted simultaneously in Village Badreshi and Village Azakhel, bringing community members together to strengthen their understanding of smart financial management.

The sessions focused on budgeting, saving, financial planning, and responsible money management, equipping participants with practical knowledge to make informed financial decisions.

With active participation and engaging discussions, the training provided an important step toward building greater financial awareness, confidence, and resilience within the community.

Celebrating Independence Day with Children in Kasur

As part of the ELEVATE Project, Bedari celebrated 14th August Independence Day of Pakistan in collaboration with the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau (CPWB), Kasur, bringing together children for a joyful and meaningful celebration.

The celebration included interactive and engaging activities with children, creating a space for them to express their thoughts, participate confidently, and learn about the values of freedom, unity, responsibility, and respect.

The activity was a beautiful reminder that children are the future of Pakistan, and investing in their protection, education, confidence, and well-being is essential for building a stronger and brighter nation. 🌱📚

Protecting Childhood, Empowering Futures

Under the ELEVATE Project, Bedari held a meaningful community meeting with local stakeholders and the Child Protection & Welfare Bureau (CPWB) incharge Kasur to discuss issues affecting children and adolescent girls.

The discussion focused on child protection, preventing early marriage, and keeping girls in education, while encouraging communities to play an active role in creating safe and supportive environments.

Under the Disability Inclusive Economic Empowerment Program (DiEEP), Bedari conducted a Tie & Dye Skills Training in District Nowshera, providing participants with practical skills to explore creative and income-generating opportunities.

Through hands-on learning, participants developed their creativity, strengthened their confidence, and gained a skill that can support their journey towards greater economic independence.
