The ZEST Education Project is moving forward at full pace!

Our Midline Assessment is currently underway, engaging around #3,500 students from #100 ZEST Non-Formal Education ( ) Centers. This important process helps us evaluate student learning outcomes and strengthen the quality of education being delivered to out-of-school children.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our partners, volunteers, and community stakeholders who stepped forward to support this massive activity, from providing assessment spaces to assisting in local coordination and management.

A special thanks to our generous donor, Türkiye Diyanet Vakfı, for their continued support towards creating access to quality education for underserved children in Pakistan.

3-Day Training Workshop for Non-Formal Education (NFE) Educators Empowering for Quality Education!

The NGO World successfully conducted a #3-day training workshop for NFE educators from 7th to 9th May 2026. The workshop engaged teachers appointed at Non-Formal Education Centers established with the financial support of PARCO Pakistan, aiming to strengthen their teaching skills in Urdu and English Package-A.

The sessions focused on phonics, reading skills, storytelling, grammar, lesson planning, classroom engagement techniques, and development of teaching aids through interactive activities, demo lessons, and micro-teaching exercises. Teachers actively participated in hands-on learning and reflection sessions, enhancing their practical classroom strategies for effective learning in Non-Formal Education classrooms.

Ms. Noureen Ladhani from PARCO Pakistan joined the closing ceremony, delivered an inspiring talk encouraging teachers to continue their valuable role in educating underserved communities, and presented certificates to the participants. The workshop concluded successfully with enthusiasm, appreciation, and positive feedback from all educators.

The NGO World Foundation, under its ZEST Education Project, is expanding its commitment to education by initiating more than #15 new Non-Formal Education (NFE) Centers across Korangi, Karachi. These centers aim to provide free quality education to around #500 out-of-school children, helping them continue their learning journey in a supportive environment.

Supported by various partner organizations, the new centers will deliver A, B, and C, focusing on foundational learning, literacy, and educational development for underserved children.

As part of this expansion, a comprehensive two-day orientation session was conducted at ZEST Model High School for newly recruited teachers. The session was led by the Project Manager and focused on teaching methodologies, classroom management, child engagement, and the vision and objectives of the ZEST Education Project.

A productive meeting was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office regarding the upcoming Vaccination Campaign, where our team actively participated.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need for full facilitation and community support to make the campaign effective and impactful.
We are proud to share that the following decisions were finalized:

📍 The Polio Campaign Inaugural Ceremony will be organized at ZEST Model High School, Korangi 50-C.

💉 On the inauguration day, students up to 10 years of age will be arranged at the school to receive polio vaccination.

📚 The Polio Team will also conduct a Polio Awareness Orientation Session with students at ZEST Model High School on the following day to educate children about the importance of vaccination and disease prevention.

Together, through awareness, collaboration, and timely vaccination, we can contribute towards a healthier and polio-free Pakistan.

At our Shahid Afridi Foundation (SAF) School - ZEST Campus we warmly welcomed the SAF management team along with international guests who spent meaningful time with the students. Madam Leanne from the and Umar from interacted closely with the children, encouraging them through conversations, activities, pictures, and vlogs.

The visit highlighted the students’ confidence, communication skills, and enthusiasm for learning, all of which were greatly appreciated by the guests. Seeing the children actively participate and express themselves with confidence made the experience even more special.

To make the day even more exciting, food distribution was also carried out among the students, bringing smiles and happiness all around.

The entire visit created a positive, engaging, and uplifting environment where students felt valued, motivated, and celebrated.

On this Labour Day, the children of our ZEST Non-Formal Education program beautifully expressed the dignity of labor through heartfelt role plays. Coming from hardworking families, these young learners portrayed everyday workers with remarkable authenticity—This was not just an activity; it was a reflection of their own lives and the struggles of their parents. With innocence in their eyes and pride in their actions, they honored the resilience and dedication of the labor community.

At ZEST and The NGO World, we believe education is not just about learning—it is about awareness, respect, and empowerment. Through such initiatives, we aim to instill dignity, confidence, and hope in every child. With pride in their actions and strength in their stories, these children delivered a powerful message: every profession deserves respect, and every effort matters. Today, they didn’t just perform—they inspired us all, reminding us that a brighter future begins when we value every hand that works.
