EXTENSION OF THE ACCEPTANCE OF CPD UNDERTAKING FOR THE RENEWAL OF PROFESSIONAL IDENTIFICATION CARD UNTIL 31 DECEMBER 2026

In accordance with PRC Resolution No. 2200, Series of 2026, the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) hereby informs all Registered and Licensed Architects (RLAs) that the acceptance of the CPD Undertaking for the renewal of Professional Identification Cards (PICs) has been extended until 31 December 2026.

Important Reminders
1. CPD Undertaking Accepted Until 31 December 2026
RLAs renewing their Professional Identification Cards on or before 31 December 2026 may continue to avail themselves of the CPD Undertaking in liesu of full compliance with the required CPD Credit Units.
2. Minimum CPD Requirement
Professionals applying for renewal during the extension period are required to have at least fifteen (15) CPD Credit Units and must submit a duly accomplished CPD Undertaking.
3. Full Compliance Required Starting 01 January 2027
Beginning 01 January 2027 the PRC will no longer accept CPD Undertakings. Full compliance with the prescribed CPD requirements shall be mandatory for the renewal of Professional Identification Cards.

Last May 26, the Professional Development Commission (PDC) conducted the Academy on Wheels Program at the National University of Singapore (NUS) with delegates from the Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISATU).

Supported by the National University of Singapore, the program featured a lecture and educational tour focused on sustainability, integrated design, and future-ready architectural practices.

Guest speakers included Ar. Joan De Leon-Tabinas, PDC Executive Director, NUS alumna, together with Dr. Johannes Widodo of NUS, who shared valuable insights on sustainability, and the role of architecture in shaping resilient communities.
