Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude as we wrap up an incredible Anak TV Symposium at Marinduque National High School!

To the amazing students, dedicated teachers, and supportive parents who joined us today—thank you for your passion, active participation, and commitment to championing safe and child-sensitive media.

We also want to express our deepest thanks for the beautiful and heartwarming Putong ceremony prepared for the Anak TV Secretariat. Experiencing this unique Marinduqueño tradition of singing, showering of flowers, and crowning made us feel so deeply honored and embraced by your wonderful community.

It was the absolute perfect end to a day filled with meaningful learning and connection!

Building trust, not walls, in our children's digital world! 🌐💬

During the Anak TV Media Literacy Symposium at Jesus My Shepherd Montessori School, Ms. Danie of Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. addressed a common worry for parents: children interacting with strangers online. She reassured parents not to panic, explaining that digitally savvy kids often understand the dynamics of these platforms and know when to protect their personal information.

The key is for parents to stay involved confidently but without judgment. Ms. Danie suggested casually asking questions about their online activities. She emphasized that if parents only approach their children to scold them about being on their phones or to give them chores, kids will simply avoid them and hide in their rooms.

Let's foster open, judgment-free communication so our children feel safe sharing their digital experiences with us! 💛

At our recent Anak TV Media Literacy Symposium at Jesus My Shepherd Montessori School, Ms. Danie of Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. shared some incredibly valuable insights on how our children use their gadgets and navigate social media.

Ms. Danie highlighted a shift in how we connect: while older generations grew up with rotary phones and one-on-one calls, today's youth are managing multiple conversations at once on platforms like Messenger.

This constant connection shapes the relationships they build, making friends and social media influencers some of the most powerful figures in their lives, especially as they enter their teenage years.

During our Anak TV Symposium at Jesus My Shepherd Montessori School in Morong, Rizal, last September 19, 2026, we were incredibly moved to see so many parents stand up and take the Anak TV Parents' Digital Citizenship Pledge.

Navigating the digital world can be challenging, but together, we can create a safer, kinder, and more responsible online environment for our children!

By taking this pledge, parents committed to:
• Raising responsible and safe digital citizens.
• Remaining attentive and monitoring their children's online interactions.
• Modeling respect, kindness, and standing firmly against cyberbullying.
• Fostering critical thinking to help children discern truth from misinformation.

At Anak TV, we believe that creating a safe space for children begins with something simple but powerful: listening.

During yesterday’s Board of Trustees meeting, we reflected on the importance of giving young people the opportunity to speak up—to share what they see, what they feel, what they fear, and what they believe in.

In a world where school violence, cyberbullying, social media pressure, misinformation, and other challenges increasingly shape their everyday experiences, children’s voices deserve to be heard, valued, and taken seriously.

It reminded us that listening is the first step toward understanding. It helps us better protect children, support their well-being, and create meaningful change that reflects their realities and aspirations.

Just months after welcoming Timor-Leste to the Southeast Asia Video Festival for Children (SEAVFC), Anak TV returned to the country as Timor-Leste-based media groups and international schools it connected with during its initial visit came together to hold a three-day video workshop for young storyt
