Behind every person with hemophilia is a mother, grandmother, sister, or caregiver whose love never gives up.

Today, we honor the women who comfort through pain, stay strong during difficult moments, and quietly fight battles so their loved ones can live fuller and brighter lives.

To all moms in the hemophilia community, thank you for your endless love, sacrifice, and strength. Happy Mother’s Day. ❤️❤️❤️

Behind every vial distributed is a life protected, a family supported, and a patient given another chance to heal.

From January to April 2026, Hemophilia Advocates-Philippines assisted 140 patients across the country, including individuals facing life-threatening brain and intracranial bleeds.

This would not have been possible without the compassion and generosity of Save One Life, Inc. – Project SHARE and Ms. Laurie Kelley LA Kelley Communications, Inc., whose continued support helped provide urgent treatment and hope to members of the bleeding disorders community in the Philippines.

Thank you for helping us remind every Filipino with hemophilia that they are not alone. 💙

👉 Magdala ng factor at gamot saan man pumunta

💙 Have fun. Stay safe. We’ve got this.

Hemophilia Advocates-Philippines participated in the recently concluded World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) World Congress 2026, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 🇲🇾 from April 19 to 22, 2026.

The delegation included our Medical Adviser, Dra. Marilou A. Abiera, core officer Ricarte Felipe, youth leaders Peter Paul Carreon and Kristian Lanzar, together with the Pammit Family.

The congress provided a meaningful platform for networking, collaboration, and exchange of ideas with hemophilia communities from around the world. Through insightful sessions and discussions, we gained valuable knowledge and strengthened our commitment to improving care, awareness, and support for persons with bleeding disorders in the Philippines.

Together, we continue to advocate for better access to treatment and a stronger future for our community.

From all of us at Hemophilia Advocates-Philippines, we proudly celebrate one of our own—Gft “Taochan” Agoncillo, a 14-year-old person with hemophilia whose voice carries a story of strength, resilience, and hope.

Through his original song, “Stronger Than My Pain,” Taochan transforms his personal journey living with hemophilia into something deeply powerful. His music reflects not only the challenges he faces, but also the courage, determination, and spirit that define so many in our community.

A big part of Taochan’s story is the generosity of many who have stood behind him. Through donations coursed via Save One Life, Inc. and Project SHARE, alongside the support of Laurie Kelley and donors who entrusted their help through HAP, Taochan has been given a chance at a semblance of normalcy. This collective support has allowed him not just to manage his condition, but to pursue his passion and share his voice with the world.

At HAP, we believe that every story matters. Taochan’s journey reminds us that young people living with hemophilia are not defined by their condition—they are artists, dreamers, and changemakers.

We invite you to listen, support, and be inspired by his journey:

Today, April 17, we join the global community in observing World Hemophilia Day, a moment to raise awareness about hemophilia and other bleeding disorders and to stand in solidarity with all those affected.

This year’s theme, “Diagnosis: First Step to Care,” highlights a critical gap that continues to impact many Filipinos. Without proper and timely diagnosis, individuals are left without access to the treatment, support, and protection they need. Too many still endure years of uncertainty, misdiagnosis, or delayed care.

At Hemophilia Advocates-Philippines, we believe that every Filipino with a bleeding disorder deserves early diagnosis, access to safe and adequate treatment, and the opportunity to live with dignity. Behind every case is a story, a family, and a future that depends on a responsive and compassionate healthcare system.

Today, we call on stakeholders, healthcare providers, and communities to strengthen awareness, improve access to diagnostics, and ensure that no one is left behind.

Diagnosis is not the end. It is the beginning of care, hope, and a better quality of life.
