The Order of DeMolay is guided by seven Cardinal Virtues that serve as examples of how a young man can live a life worthy of the good opinion of all right-thinking men.

As DeMolays, we are taught to ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ž๐œ๐ญ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ž ๐ฌ๐š๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ, recognizing the importance of faith, belief, and personal conviction in the lives of others.

On September 12โ€“13, 2026, South Cebu Chapter No. 141, Order of DeMolay, sponsored by Leon Kilat Masonic Lodge, No. 437, was formally instituted and installed in Carcar City, Cebu, marking a new beginning for DeMolay Philippines in South Cebu.

DeMolays and Sir Knights from Lapulapu Chapter No. 5, and Datu Sawili Chapter No. 64, Order of DeMolay and Juan K. Causing Priory No. 2, Order of Knighthood, assisted with the conferral of degrees and installation of officers of the event.

A total of 27 young men were conferred into the Order, and the installation of Officers took officers the day after. In attendance also was the DeMolay National Congress, represented by Bro. Kyle Balbin, NJC, and Bro. Timothy Castro, JMC-V. Bro. Francis Llanos, PJMC-V, and Bro. Vince Pintac, PCNJC, also attended the event and took part as the Installing team.

An Advisorsโ€™ Session and Orientation for the Active DeMolays was conducted by Leg. Fatz Buenafe, providing valuable guidance to the newly established chapter.

Leg. Lizer Mazarte was installed as Deputy Executive Officer for Region 7A by Leg. Executive Officer Lock Sestoso. Leg. Jeff Pintac, Grand Ambassador of SCOD to Japan, was also in attendance.

The members of the South Cebu Chapter No. 141 Advisory Council were likewise installed by the Executive Officers, completing the team that will guide and support the chapter in its journey ahead.

With 27 new DeMolays and a dedicated team of advisers, South Cebu Chapter No. 141, Order of DeMolay begins its journey of building leaders, strengthening brotherhood, and living the ideals of DeMolay.

On September 11, 2026, Grand Master Hon. Albert V. Manlulu, Grand Master of the Supreme Council, Order of DeMolay of the Republic of the Philippines, took part in two meaningful activities in Kalinga and Cagayan, highlighting the continued growth of DeMolay and the important role of Masonic support in developing young men.

In Tabuk City, Kalinga, Kalinga Matagoan Chapter No. 135 was formally chartered, marking the establishment of a new DeMolay Chapter dedicated to providing young men with opportunities to develop leadership, character, responsibility, fellowship, and a commitment to service.

Grand Master Hon. Albert Manlulu also visited Tuguegarao Masonic Lodge No. 408 in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan, where he was received by Worshipful Master Dad Andrews De Austria and the brethren. During the visit, he shared a deeper appreciation of DeMolay as a Youth Development Program

The discussion also gave the brethren an opportunity to better understand the work of DeMolay, particularly its meetings and ritual ceremonies, which many had not yet witnessed. Grand Master Manlulu invited the brethren to actively support DeMolay programs and activities and encouraged them to take on the important role of mentors and positive adult influences in the lives of the young men.

DeMolay is an international youth organization where young men can grow, lead, make lifelong friendships, and create meaningful experiences while developing the values that help them become better men and better citizens.
