Graciano Lopez Jaena Chapter No. 8, Order of DeMolay became the very first Chapter to receive Permanent Charter for their Parents Club from the Supreme Council on August 16, 2026 at Iloilo Masonic Center, Iloilo City.

The Charter was formally presented by Executive Officer Legionnaire Jose Leo R. Contreras. Federated Mothersโ€™ and Parentsโ€™ Club External Vice President Mom Karen F. Villanueva and PRO for Visayas 2 Mom Pinky Palomar witnessed the said chartering ceremony.

The said Parentsโ€™ Club will be known as Graciano Lopez Jaena Chapter No. 8, Order of DeMolay Parentsโ€™ Club.

The Supreme Council expresses appreciation to the support of the Advisory Council and sponsoring Masonic body, Masonic District R-IV Panay.

Some young people dream big. Others begin achieving those dreams early.

At just 9 years old, Teo Ong is already proving that age is no barrier to excellence. The son of Dad Bryan Ong of Frank Reed Horton Masonic Lodge No. 379, Teo is a home-schooled learner based in Cebu whose passion for growth extends far beyond the classroom.

A dedicated martial artist, Teo is currently ranked No. 3 in the Philippines in Philippine Jujitsu for his age category. His pursuit of excellence doesnโ€™t stop there. Whether creating his own videos, speaking confidently on a variety of topics, or exploring new ideas with curiosity, Teo consistently demonstrates discipline, creativity, and a genuine love for learning.

What makes Teo truly remarkable is not only his accomplishments, but also his character. His determination, confidence, and eagerness to improve embody the very qualities that inspire future leaders.

Teo has expressed his desire to one day become a DeMolay himself. He has met several DeMolays during his visit to the Philippine DeMolay Youth Center. We look forward to welcoming him into the Brotherhood when he reaches the eligible age and to seeing him continue his journey of leadership, service, and excellence.

The future belongs to young people who dare to learn, lead, and inspire and Teo is already well on his way.
