𝐖𝐄𝐁𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐑 𝐒𝐔𝐂𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐒! 🐾⭐

On May 9 & 10, 2026, TUP ComPAWnion successfully hosted a webinar designed to create awareness of our organization, promote our mission, and showcase many ways in which people can help TUP campus cats and stray animals as a whole. We learned through this webinar that even small acts of kindness like 𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨, 𝙫𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 can greatly impact the lives of our furry friends. 🧡

𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑 🕊️

On May 1, 2026, one of our beloved campus cats has crossed the rainbow bridge. Despite everything that was tried by the veterinary staff and the continued support he received, Tater’s health declined further. He had stopped responding, and though efforts were done to save him, his body had been exhausted beyond its capacity.

Tater fought with all his might till the last breath. Although his stay with us was very short, he was not alone because he had been surrounded by people’s love and kindness, and he would never have had to face anything without people coming forward to help him.

On behalf of TUP ComPAWnion, we extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who donated on his journey. Your compassion brought Tater peace during his last days because he knew he was loved.

𝐔𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐓: 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑 ‼️

𝗧𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 is currently confined at the vet under 𝐁𝐢𝐲𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐀𝐧𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞: 𝐈𝐧𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 and is now in 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.

According to the vet. He is weak, lethargic, and unable to move, with no urine and faecal output. He is also experiencing eye discharge and difficulty breathing.

At the moment, Tater is placed inside an 𝐨𝐱𝐲𝐠𝐞𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 to help him breathe and is under red-light support to stabilise his body temperature. Despite continuous IV fluids, medications, and close monitoring, his 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐨𝐫.

He is fighting for his life, and we are doing everything we can—but we cannot do it alone. We are humbly asking for your help. Any amount, no matter how small, will go a long way in sustaining Tater’s medical care and giving him a chance to survive. 🧡

Celebrated on the last Saturday of April, 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐕𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲 honors the role of veterinarians 🩺 not only in animal care but also in public health and safety 🏥. Established by the World Veterinary Association, this day highlights how veterinarians help 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩 the spread of animals-to-humans diseases 🦠 and 𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚 food safety through inspection of animal products 🐄.

Beyond clinics, veterinarians also work in research 🔬, wildlife conservation 🍃, and education 📚—making their impact more far-reaching.

Every day on campus, there are quiet moments we often don’t notice—the soft meows in corners, the familiar cats coming back to their feeding spots, hoping there’s still food left for them. However, currently, our numbers indicate that 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗼𝘄.

The Animal Care and Feeding Committee faces a challenge because the current situation makes it difficult to provide the needs of our campus cats. As of now, our funds has ₱𝟯,𝟭𝟰𝟲.𝟮𝟵 remaining to cover expenses for the upcoming weeks, but will eventually become insufficient because it covers their daily necessities, foods, and unexpected medical expenses for treating injured or sick cats.

We are now in urgent need of support. Any help will do, 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙞𝙣-𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨, 𝙘𝙖𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙨, 𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙜𝙞𝙛𝙩𝙨. The cats have gathered on the campus once again with their 𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙚𝙤𝙬𝙨 🥺, waiting for their mealtime. The bowls were empty, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙖 𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣… 🔔 What is it? 𝗜𝗧’𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗬 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗜𝗥 𝗙𝗔𝗩𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗘 𝗠𝗘𝗔𝗟!!!! As they hear the rolling wheels of the trolley, they celebrate by 𝙬𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙡 and 𝙢𝙚𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙡𝙤𝙪𝙙 at the same time! They all ran to their bowls and began to dig in as soon as the bowls were filled with their favorite food 🍽️. And as they chew their food, they create a 𝙢𝙚𝙤𝙬 𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 at the same time, showing their satisfaction with each bite of their meal. 🎶🐈

With the help of our 𝗔𝗻𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲, we are witnessing that the cats are lying on their backs with a 𝙨𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙮 and a 𝙗𝙞𝙜 𝙨𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙨 on 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟯: 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟯 — 𝟭𝟳.
